New to the Kubota L3200, couple questions

Not quite the thread for this since it deals with an M7060 and not an L series like the original poster is inquiring about. I'm aware you're probably new to the forum, and if so, welcome! You should post it out in the Fabrication/Customization forum as it's own thread so we don't hijack this...

    Paying Close Attention

Yeah, my motorcycle has been garaged for over a year now. I really don't trust the drivers any more. Combine that with all the cars getting lighter and smaller, it explains the injury stats. I really wish they'd let us arm our cars with paintball guns. Then we'd know to avoid the cars with...

    Second Diesel in the Garage

Well, the Eco-Diesel is apparently a present from Fiat. It's an Italian diesel from what I understand. I'm going with that same motor but my wife and I are waiting until it makes it into the Wrangler Unlimited next year... I may end up with a 1500 Ram like that one as well but the Jeep will...

    l3010 4x4 mowing rpms

I pin my throttle at the little mark for 540 on the tach. Then if I need more power going into a nasty patch, I drop the hammer on the throttle pedal. Biggest drain on mowing, as far as I've found, is people getting impatient and running the tractor too fast. It's especially noticeable on the...

    LA524 Quick Attach? (SSQA)

That is a nice unit Houser52... it certainly is for being $100 cheaper. Do you have any torqueing problems with just that pipe for a cross member?

    LA524 Quick Attach? (SSQA)

Yeah, I liked your build as well. May I ask where you got the latches and plates again?

    LA524 Quick Attach? (SSQA)

Looks like it's $530 bucks before shipping... I'll have to get richer quicker before I can handle that.

    LA524 Quick Attach? (SSQA)

Maybe THAT's why I'm having issues finding it! Thanks NIWolfman, as always, you rock. :D However, both those parts are for the LA514 and the LA 555, I'm wondering if the LA524 can handle them... That "New for OLD>>, OLD for New<<" is confusing to me but maybe it's obvious to someone else? I...

    Debris in B2620 Hydraulics

If it's ferrous metal, you can get them out with a magnet on a stick trick (mechanics magnet, etc.) If it's not ferrous and you can see it, you can retrieve it with a mechanics grab stick (has little fingers that push out when you push the button on the top of it). I don't know the exact...

    Tree Trimming. Tis The Season!

I have several Texas Mesquite's on my property that I'm cultivating. They actually dominate the area. Oddly, I discovered they are vulnerable to Mistletoe, like Oaks are. Saw it on several other trees in the area so I know that will be a problem for the trees. We have neighbors with very old...

    LA524 Quick Attach? (SSQA)

I think I might not be looking in the right places for this critter... I got my L3200 with the LA524 loader on it. I've been looking to see if the part was in existence to make it into an SSQA loader. I don't mind changing bucket to SSQA to start as I figure if I got a lot of attachments, I'd...

    ROP noise

This technically violates your ROPS safety warranty and if they want to go toe to toe with you in case of a rollover accident where the ROPS fails to protect you, you'll lose on the technicality. I'd see if tightening everything down would prevent the rattling first. Then you can try grease...

    Freeze Plug

That's usually an easy fix. Pop out the plug, catch all the coolant with a bucket below it, pop in a new plug. They're pretty cheap.

Bless me Father,,, we are screwed

It's a bit disingenuous to say this comes from Hillary and wear the Hillary shirt to back it, but it is a frightening thing that anyone would go for it no matter whom it was touted to be from. Guys, we were screwed from the point the Supreme Court ruled like morons in Wickard v. Filburn. If...

    Just a couple of observations......

Never said they would be dealing with it in their off time, but on the clock most companies would view looking at these sites as customer service/support/R&D etc. It's free data for an organization to use to develop and improve their product, so I would not be surprised at all if someone was...

Mixing AG front with Turf rear tires?

Turfs on front would be less of an issue since their traction rating is lower than the AG's. They would just slip through any problems. I would thinkg AG's on the front would kill your front wheel driving mechanisms if the back wasn't pushing the load properly.

    Well, THAT'S never happened before!

Yeah, different valve types. Helps to put a little anti-sieze on the threads of the valve stem if you have metal caps. Plastic caps don't suffer from that issue but have others.

    Foundation prep questions

I've worked with several types of compactors, from vehicle to plate style. We had the best results with the 'jumping jack' style of compactor. It worked better than even multi-ton rollers did. No cracks on a 3 car garage on clay after a decade, of course it was at least 6" thick in the...
