Buying A Single Grey Market Tractor From Japan?

It's a good way to get exactly what you want. :D

    U joints

You will have to do a model number search for the deck. Look for the silver sticker on the deck with the model and serial number. Try Messicks, but you need to make an account to see diagrams. Should be the first option under joint.

    Smart guys

Can you try a bolt from another pulley?

Snow plowing - Front or Rear Blade?

I prefer blade in the rear and the bucket on the front. My driveway drifts badly and I lose ground clearance very fast so I have to scoop my way through with the bucket.

    G3200 Crown and Pinion help

At those prices, one might be better off looking for a used rear end, but keep in mind the G3200 is gear drive so HST parts may not be compatible.

    G3200 Crown and Pinion help

Did you try Messicks? Do a search under differential. You need an account to view diagrams. Not really following what the tractor is.. It has a loader?

    1987 B6200 vs 2014 B2620

It’s very likely to have rolled over IMO. It’s odd these only have 3 place hour meters. A co worker and I had this discussion just the other day.. Didn’t believe my G’s had 4 place meters. Lol.

    Lessons learned

Ouch. I'm currently running WIX filters on my G5200's. At $4 something each on Rock Auto, it was hard to pass up. Kubota filters for these were around $30 if I am not mistaken.

    Green Vs Orange

I’ve heard our local JD dealer is awesome about getting parts. 1-2 day lead time. Our Kubota dealer on the other hand can take 2-3 weeks. It’s much quicker to go online for non stocked items. Prices are about the same minus shipping. I guess there is always next day air if I used my tractor...

    Zd331 Mower deck surging

I'm not familiar with your model, but does it have a driveshaft? If you lost the gearbox mid use, perhaps something was tweaked.

Why would you buy a small Deere over a Kubota?

If you can find a reason to buy a JD over a Kubota for homeowner use, let me know. I looked and I wasn't impressed. The only thing I could see someone liking on the JD was the peddle setup. Having grown up with Kubota, I just wasn't a fan.. If I didn't know any better, I probably wouldn't have...

    Kubota Super UDT fluid

Very interesting. My G6200 will be due for a hydraulic fluid change soon.. I should try UDT2. My only concern is that usually synthetic hydraulic fluids are a lighter viscosity so I'd rather keep what it came with from the factory or at least keep it as close as possible.

    G1900 not starting

Are you certain the starter is getting 12 volts? If not, check the battery terminals. Had this issue on a G1800 diesel and gasser G1900. The G1900 was actually picked up for $500 because the PO couldnt get it started.

    Spring maintenance

That’s a nice toolbox. Sure beats the plastic one they come with. Where did you get it?

    Kubota Walk Behind Law Mower

That’s the mower my mind went to when I saw this threads title. Lol Those sure were beasts. When the self propelled was engaged, you better hold on.

    Finish Mower

They make anti scalp rollers that go on the front just under the 3 point.

    Deep cycle battery

I would look into getting the $20 Harbor Freight battery maintainer.

    Oil

I had to check and it says 40 for mine as well. I've never paid attention honestly.. always have bought off road diesel at the local fuel distributor. I just read the comment here a while back so no source sadly. I'm not saying it's an issue in terms of performance, function, or engine...

    Oil

I don't see the issue either. Hopefully whoever it was will chime in.
