    Bent my FEL support arms

Nice! Do you have a p/n? I couldn***8217;t find anything. The pair would probably be cheaper than having them welded up and buying the paint.

    Bent my FEL support arms

It’s my own fault. Not blaming the tractor whatsoever. Thought it’d be interesting to remove the FEL for mowing. Raised the FEL and lowered the arms. 2 mistakes. I didn’t have the bucket tilted forward enough so the arms touched the ground before the bucket did and I put the weight of the...

    G3200

I just bought 4 BX30 sized cogged belts from Belt Palace for $50 shipped. They give a small discount for 4 vs only 2. Not sure on the brand.. they***8217;re just labeled as industrial grade. They should be in tomorrow.

    G3200

You should be able to slide everything apart shaft wise without removing any pins. Undo the deck hangers and lift arms obviously, as you know.

Drive Train warranty,,, we pay 25%??

Makes sense. I didn’t know this, but then again I haven’t read the warranty info that close either. Obviously the inconvenience didn’t scare me away from the purchase. Lol.

Drive Train warranty,,, we pay 25%??

I agree 100%. This makes me thankful for my dealer. The only thing I have to worry about is paying for transportation to the dealer with warranty work since I don’t have anything big enough to haul my L. I thought it was a bit shady, but oh well. If it was a car, I’d just drive it to the...

Tractor size for 2 acres in NC

If you personally have a truck that big, I am sure the dealer would let you try something out on their lot. You'll want to be in low and 4WD. Give it 2000 RPM or so. I've hauled my 4000 lb SUV to my barn when the fuel pump went out. It was easy given my terrain so I think you'd be fine with 3x...

    G3200

I would go through and grease everything you can find. I'm having an issue with the tensioner for the belts between the PTO and the engine. The PO never greased the bracket so as a result, the pivot pin, which is welded to the body, is badly worn out. (The pulley bearings were also worn so we'll...

    G3200

Very nice. I'd love to find myself a G3200. I love me some vintage G's.

ID tag fell off-how to replace?

I would just tape it to the inside of your manual for documentation.

    Kubota filters...

US made here as well aside from my tractors. :D All joking aside, I try to buy US, Japanese, EU etc. whenever possible over China and Mexico, but sometimes it’s impossible.

    Kodiak Brand rotary brush cutters?

My Kubota dealer is starting to sell them. Im sure theyre fine. If I recall correctly, the gearbox has either a 5 or 7 year warranty. Not bad.

Front Deck Link for RC54-G20 G1800 - $400+ Repair Bill

I feel I should add that my fleet of vintage G's are money pits. (Money pit is a relative term; they're still cheaper than a new zero turn.) My daily driver keeps eating PTO belts from what I hope is a failed tensioner pulley. I had an issue last fall with a bad PTO driveshaft between the engine...

    Kubota G6200 over heating!

How hot is it running? Gauge hitting red and the whistler is going off or is it just running hot? Mine normally run just above the 3/4 mark when mowing. Is it losing any coolant between uses? I would make sure the radiator is clean by reflushing. Amazon has 2 lb bags of food grade citric acid...

Front Deck Link for RC54-G20 G1800 - $400+ Repair Bill

Another thing to consider is a cheap parts tractor. I saw either a G1800 or G1900 on CL for $1200 very recently. That'd give you another deck, engine, body, frame, HST, pto drive shafts etc. A couple years ago, my dad bought a G2000 (gas, 60" deck, 1100 hrs) from a friend that would not start...

    Best B-Series (based on reliability)

Very nice. That’s the first Kubota I remember my dad having. Had 2 sets of tires. Ags and turfs. I remember it being a big deal when the newer tractor only needed 1 set (industrials) Lol.

Front Deck Link for RC54-G20 G1800 - $400+ Repair Bill

Check eBay. Search G1800, G1900 and G2000. The links should be the same regardless of model or deck size, but double check the part numbers. It's cool to see you investing so much to get it going. I grew up driving one of these on the parents property. In fact, I didn't weigh enough for the...

    Deck Gearbox Question

API GL-3 is just an older spec. An 80w-90 or 75w-90 GL-5 will work fine. GL-4 would work too, but nowadays is harder to find and is used for manual transmissions, but that's beyond the scope of your question. :o

    Fair Trade Price

Fair trade should be you paying next to nothing. Pre emissions or not on the L4600, your tractor is worth more with the HST. I would take a hard look at the gear drive and see if thats what you want before proceeding. I would just consider adding the SSQA to your current setup as well. 4K...

    Kubota G2000 hydrostatic shaft removal

Welcome. I’m just west of Fort Wayne. When you say driveshaft, do you mean the shaft that runs between the pump and the engine? I hate saying this, but you may have to remove the entire rear fender to get it out. Maybe taking the deck off gives you more room? I had to take mine off when I...
