Necessity is the mother of invention

Pretty nifty. Whats holding the barrels on?

    Disappointed in Messicks

Try Colemans. Their shipping is cheaper for me. Maybe eBay if you can find the OE part priced lower with (dare I say) free shipping.

    L3200 adding BH77

I thought they were closer to 6.5k.

    Refueling setups

This was my first thought as well. I met a guy years ago with a 55 gallon drum on a 4 wheeled drum dolly. He used a DC powered fuel pump from a dump truck that he was able to connect with alligator clips to his tractor battery. I’m thinking about trying something like this, but I only need...

    Forks for B2650

This is a good deal. With my dealer, it was $500 off. I know this because technically it would have been cheaper to get the FEL and quick hitch ($400) than to just buy the FEL. OP, with my L, some recommended 48 inch forks just so you could see the tips from the seat. I guess this is dependent...

    Price check on L2501 HST

This is by far the best price Ive seen. I want to say insurance is $30 a month? Thats just over 2k in 7 years. You really got that tractor and box blade for $18,500.

    Hydro-static drives

They're definitely a slight overkill for the tractor IMO. Some even had the 3 point hitch.

    Where to purchase rear remotes?

I***8217;ve used Messicks and Coleman. Both are good, but Coleman has a better price on shipping for me. Of course, your mileage may vary.

    Kubota L2501 - initial review

I saw a guy online bed line the hump as well as the floor boards. Didn’t turn out half bad. I believe it was the L owners page on Facebook. The wife wanted to use the tractor a few weeks ago to haul some weeds and put a nice scratch on said hump. I had to give her a hard time because it was...

    B2650 35 hour review

You're doing excellent on fuel consumption. Very impressive. With my L, I want to say I consume around 1 gallon per hour with 2000 RPM tasks.

    Kubota G6200 over heating!

The evapo rust is a good idea. Never thought of that.

    HST’s and PTO power loss

We all know a gear drive tractor will have more power at the PTO than an identical HST model. I’m curious if the PTO on a HST model can put out more power if the tractor is in neutral with the only load being the PTO itself.

    PTO generator for bx2350?

Northern Tool has a 7200 kw unit that only requires 14 hp.

    Price check on L2501 HST

I paid 19,500 before tax. Same options for the tractor.

    G3200

Gotcha. My apologies. Yeah I have no good way of replacing that thing without the deck being off. There's 2 bolts at the HST pump and 3 6mm machine screws at the crank between the driveshaft and rubber shock absorber. When everything is loose, I just slide the shaft towards the front and was...

    G4200 & G5200 No dash power

My G6200 did this to me the day I brought it home.. It was a fuse under the steering wheel. My dad's G1800 does this with a bad battery or poor battery connection. If it's not the fuse, I'd make certain the starter is getting 12 volts.

    G3200

Are you talking about the 2 PTO belts? There's a guard under the bottom pulley that needs removed as well as a longer bolt at 3:00 of said pulley, but other than that, you shouldn't have to remove anything else. All should be 12mm. BTW, I was wrong on my above post. Just checked the manual and...

    Which box blade for L3301?

With the suggested models, me using my dad's MRL3572 on my little L doesnt look very promising. I want to say it weights around 1000 lbs. I am hoping to get it down to my place within the month.

    G3200

For those curious, my tensioner pulley swap seems to have worked despite the worn pivot pin. I installed the new belts yesterday and ran the tractor for about an hour in various heights of grass and the belts lived with no sign of excessive wear. I was slightly disappointed though because these...
