They're definitely a slight overkill for the tractor IMO. Some even had the 3 point hitch.

We all know a gear drive tractor will have more power at the PTO than an identical HST model. I’m curious if the PTO on a HST model can put out more power if the tractor is in neutral with the only load being the PTO itself.

My G6200 did this to me the day I brought it home.. It was a fuse under the steering wheel. My dad's G1800 does this with a bad battery or poor battery connection. If it's not the fuse, I'd make certain the starter is getting 12 volts.

Are you talking about the 2 PTO belts? There's a guard under the bottom pulley that needs removed as well as a longer bolt at 3:00 of said pulley, but other than that, you shouldn't have to remove anything else. All should be 12mm. BTW, I was wrong on my above post. Just checked the manual and...
