I’ve thought about adding POR15 to the G5200’s deck. Seems to be good stuff if used correctly with their 3 step process.. No idea on the non stick, but I can report back if I use it if anyone is interested. The non stick stuff would be for my new LP finisher.

Anyone have any suggestions for a non stick coating to apply to the underneath side of a mower deck to prevent and/ or easily remove sticking grass? Thanks.

What is the MSRP for your tractor? With my L2501, I want to say I was about 2k below, but I bought industrial tires with 4 implements (the loader counts as an implement by the way), and some outdoor power equipment. They even threw in a G5200 rolling chassis for me.

My only concern would be faded paint and plastic since it***8217;s most likely been sitting out that long. I***8217;m not sure on any changes. It***8217;s a slow selling tractor because as you***8217;ve seen, it***8217;s easy to justify stepping it up to the MX. The dealer just wants it moved.

Right now, I am averaging about 1 gallon an hour, but it's hard to say since this was over the winter. Long warm ups with excessive idling and then about 2000 RPM while plowing snow. I'm excited to see what it does while mowing.

What’s the difference between the HST running at a higher RPM on this vs. say the 4701 assuming it is the same unit? Keep in mind, I’m just talking about the HST and not the PTO speed.

If you can find out if the L2501 has the same HST/ pump as larger L***8217;s then that would give you your answer.

If your pto/ engine speed decreases with an increase in ground speed, wouldn***8217;t that just be the engine lugging?

Can't remember his name. He had a B2650 originally, but later went with an L2501. He needed more speed to get the tractor out of deep holes with a full bucket.

A guy on here with a landscaping business made the adjustment to get more engine speed and it seemed to have worked well for him. The PTO gearing will always be the same so you won't be able to run the engine faster than 2000 RPM without exceeding 540 at the PTO. While it's nice to know, I'm...
