Beef with Kubota - The nut that drove me nuts

Try one of these:http://www.harborfreight.com/15-piece-slide-hammer-and-puller-set-5469.html I made a screw, that replaces the screw in the vice grips, and connects to the puller... 3-5 whacks, and most seals are out...:D

    3 Point Log Skidder

Attaching anything to a mounted 3 point implement, and pulling asks for a wheelie. I have an older farmi winch skidder, you drop the skidder, winch in the log(s) and then attach the logs as high as you can get them, then lift the skidder. When pulling if the butt end of the log (at front) hits...

These guys are the dregs and remnants of the "occupy" movement, professional protesters, fine for blocking the highway is $ 50.00. They also caused ambulances to be diverted to other hospitals, not to mention the cost of their removal. Just shunt them to the side of the road, and put ip a...

Getting ready to fab up a rear mounted 3PH lever

Sounds like a good idea, you might want to try a short vermier control lever like those used on truck motors and boats. You would want to measure the amount of pull you need, by attaching a simple fisherman's spring scale to the hyd lever, to see what kind of force needed. Also, get a...

Am I on the right maintenance track?

Quick fix on the rotating cotter pins is to drill a hole, through the eye of the cotter pin, in a convenient place, and tap the hole for say a 1/4" bolt and a lockwasher...:D

    FEL Shoes

The absolute best way at least in MD, is to spend at least $2,500 on a new snowblower, then it won't snow enough, or the right kind, for 5-10 years...

Am I on the right maintenance track?

A good welding shop could fix that bucket top, by adding a pipe, or c-channel to it, and flattening out the bumps... Definitely chance all filters and fluids, just to be safe. Don't forget to check the hyd suction screen, too.
