Hi folks,
My son bought a new B2320 w/ Ansung backhoe and FEL in September 2014.
He has a lawn service, small hauling/excavating, firewood business.
We have been using the machine to haul cut firewood out of the rock-strewn woods. Recently we started skidding log lengths out of the woods.
We took the backhoe off the tractor sometime after we had been moving cut wood using the front loader.
BIG change in the feel of the machine! You must learn, with a bucket full of wood, to keep the bucket low. The balance of the machine is compromised with the extra weight in front.
Just the other day I decided to buy a "heavy duty 3pt receiver hitch asm." I plan on making a better assembly to help in skidding the logs.
And went not using the tractor in the woods, we can use the 2" receiver to install a " receiver- mounted cargo platform". With this we can add 300 lbs to counteract the imbalance when loading up the bucket. It will probably help also when pushing snow with the Dozer blade.....
Life IS good.
