    3 Point Auger on a L3800

Mine is not yet completed (got to find some unobtainium u-joints), but there are many uses beyond fence post. Obviously other types of posts, but also can aid a lot in planting bushes/trees, or anything where you need a contained hole, unless you have a backhoe. Or combined with a sub-soiler...

B2150 - I think my clutch is going out

Today I needed to make some good time covering ground, and for the first time really used the tractor in high range high gear. First starting out I noticed it seemed to not want to get under way. Motor didn't bog, it just didn't lurch as expected coming up on the clutch. After a few trips...

    ROPS Led B7100

Looks good. I bought some (3, 1 for back and 2 to front sides) to put on mine, but then got the 2150 and the 7100 got put on the back burner. Now the lights are going on the 2150 canopy, when I get the list whittled down that far. I need to get that thing up for sale, but been too busy, and...

    Used anti-freeze source?

Aren't they used mostly for either rolling in fresh laid sod, or for going over top-coat when reseeding to bring the top-coat/soil into firm contact with the new seed.

    One sweet rifle.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arroyo_(creek) Basically dry washes up to mini-canyons, often with loose rocks, falls, steep loose sides, critters of all sorts (I've seen countless rattle snakes and even a Gila Monster).

    One sweet rifle.

I have no problem spending reasonable amounts of money on a target or hunting rifle. Just not one to be drug along and beat about in an off-road rig, or walking down an arroyo.

    One sweet rifle.

If I didn't have my M17S, I would probably get a nice used Ruger Mini-14 and add a bullpup kit (more likely, just build my own). For me, $2k is just too much to spend on a gun like that. I'm not active para-military (SWAT, etc), I'm not actively involved in getting myself into trouble, and it...

    One sweet rifle.

I bought it new direct from Bushmaster back in 2005 or so.

    Back to School

Ouch! That guy should be "sleepin' wit' da' fishes". No excuse for that kind of carnage, good luck. And I was grumbling about the welded bolts on my ROPs and broken backhoe frame. :o

    One sweet rifle.

Yeah, it's the short package with serious capability (and cheap(er) amo). You don't buy it to snipe at 500+ yds or hunt white tail. I got into bullpups for use in my expedition rig. It's a highly upgraded K5 with 1 ton locked axles and setup for long range travel far from paved roads or...

That's the new(?) Tavor. Sweet, but too rich for my blood.

    Farm field repairs

Oh yeah, just rub it in why don't ya! :o Beautiful work. Me an my old rough ol' Bridgeport 2J, 17x60 Taiwan industrial lathe, Millermatic 172, Hypertherm plasma, and cramped shop will just have to find a way to make it through. Not bad for a home shop, but I sure wish I had a nice clean and...

    Farm field repairs

I find myself with a terrible case of machine envy. Not the least of which is that lift cart and welding positioner. :D The color of that smilie is appropriate.

    Farm field repairs

They are nice. Looks like a welding positioner (motorized rotary table, you can see the chuck in some pics) was used along with Spray Transfer. Most smaller home shop welders are only capable of globular transfer, which yields the welds most of us associate with MIG/GMAW welds. But if you...

    starter cliks

Sounds to me more like the classic headlight upgrade. Basically, DC voltage drops fairly rapidly over distance in a wire, more so if the wire is smaller gauge. To save money, wires are engineered to be the smallest to do the job, putting voltage at the end within a specified acceptable range...

    Calcium Choride and Tubes

Thanks to all of you for taking the time to offer your suggestions. Seems like the overwhelming consensus is to just fill them and run 'em. I had a feeling that would be the case, and after all, folks run full CC loads all the time. But I must say, my tendency is toward the "CC is evil" side...

Oh, I should have added, the rear R1 tires in question are 12.4 x 16.

    Service manual for B2150D

I wanted a shop service manual for my B2150D. This tractor seems to suit me, and I'm putting a fair bit of money into getting it to the point I want it to be. I see myself keeping it for a while. For all my enthusiast vehicles (DMax 2500HD, Grand Prix GTP Comp-G, and even my little ultra rare...

    Calcium Choride and Tubes

With the help of a forum member, I recently got a good deal on a set of ~90% R1 tires complete with wheels to fit my B2150D. They are from the N Mid-West area, but we were both surprised to find out the rears had been loaded with Calcium Chloride in tubes. It added a lot of weight for...

    Landscape rake?

I was going to suggest the same thing. I got a drag spike harrow with my 2150. But it doesn't have a 3 point lift frame, so that's on the to-do list. That thing is a royal PIA to move around without a frame. At least 100 lbs of what amounts to 6'x'6 chain link fence made from 1/2" steel bar...
