    Another hydraulic hose

Perhaps consider shortening or lengthening the hose so the "rubbing area" could be kept either stationary or have minimal movement. Sometimes it's possible. Another thing is to use a piece of thick hose (radiator or such) in the affected area in addition to the aforementioned suggestions.

    Checking Diesel Injectors

One of the last things I've done on the RTV project was to check the injectors. Checking for me was looking for dirt, wear and such in the injectors. Likely all of y'all have done that too. However I watched a few youtubers just to get some ideas and came across a guy who works on old Mercedes...

    Kubota RTV900 Rear Axel repair

If you "whack it" hard, you will end up mushrooming the axle end, so be careful. As @North Idaho Wolfman says, there is nothing holding it in other than friction/rust. You'd be better off (if you cannot loosen with penetrating oil and heat) to add some time to the mix. Also if you can add some...

    I did it again!

Cool - I love restorations (large toll on my body though)! Maybe the problem is the solenoid? do you have another to try? On my RTV resto, the stop solenoid just went poof one day and died without warning. One other thought I had - is it possible that wires for solenoid/pump are melted together?

Is the diesel tank metal or stainless steel?

Great job fixing it up. Ya never know where Mr Rust will strike next!

    Sidekick Lipstick

Have you checked with an auto body shop? Many autos have lots of plastic parts on them that require painting.

    Kubota RTV 900

Martin That's all the information I could find. You might want to check with Kubota USA in Grapevine TX. Perhaps tell them the UK was unable to help and you're desperate! Maybe they can suggest ideas for you https://www.kubotausa.com/contact

    2014 RTV-1140CPX New Project for Restoration-PART 3

HI @chris_the_wrench Grey on the axle cases and hubs is charcoal grey powder. I powdercoated these. It's not a perfect match but good enough actually. Grey on frame and other frame related parts where I sprayed is Kubota Dark Grey Enamel. Quart is part number below. I have used Kubota spray...

    2014 RTV-1140CPX New Project for Restoration-PART 3

The brakes are composed of 3 friction pads and 4 steel discs. The friction discs rotate with the axle shaft via serrated teeth that match the splines on the shaft. The steel discs are stationary. The have "teeth" around the perimeter that match with the inner case. Install the shaft seal...

    2010 RTV 500 repairs

Hmmm, this seems so unnecessarily difficult doesn't it? That is an interesting offer from the dealer. Might be worth doing so as not to have to mess with it, and get it over the "finish line" - as long as he agrees "it will be fixed". I've read a bit about the Microsquirt since I'm an OEM...

    2010 RTV 500 repairs

Had you tried running the engine with the evap system prior to removal after you repaired the head? The evap system does allow the carb to pull additional air (albeit fuel vapors also) from the carbon tank. I assume you simply plugged the original vac line to the carb - is that correct? I...
