Brush Hog-- Slip Clutch or Sheer Pin?

If you get one with a slip clutch be sure to loosen all the bolts then adjust them to tension for your tractor making sure the disc are free. Many times folks just leave the clutch alone thinking it's doing it's job. Especially if it's set outside the disc can get to where they don't break loose.

    L235 Live Clutch?

Coach, the way to tell is to put the stethoscope you use for checking vibrations and noises down on the transmission and determine if there is a thumping noise. OK, OK just making sure you're paying attention. I copy and pasted this from another site. There is a lot of confusion about what a...

    Implements for Road Repair/Maintainance L235

Keep your eye open for a soil pulverizer like this one. It will do what you need even with compacted material. http://www.everythingattachments.com/Soil-Pulverizer-Yard-Pulverizer-p/eta-yp-72-v2.htm I've seen them used, maybe needing a little maintenance, for a couple hundred dollars.

    Pto shaft

Wipe the inside of your splined coupling with a rag to make sure you have no dirt in there. Then give it a spray with a lube, even WD40 will do. Spray the spring loaded part you push in a couple of them and spray the splined area as the pin is pushed in and out. Then it should slide on easily...

    Digging shallow well with phd

ipz2222, if you're going to have your water tested take two samples. Tell them one is yours and the other is your neighbors. (When you told "him' you were going to have your water tested he said he would like his tested also.) That's what I did with the water from my well. I also insisted...

    Diesel Fuel additives

Here's a link to some interesting facts/history of oil filters. Important to remember, if you fill a spin-on filter with fuel, oil or any other product the fluid you pour into the filter does not get filtered before it is sent through the system! http://www.secondchancegarage.com/public/297.cfm

    M6950DT difficult to start

From your description it sure seems to describe an air leak in a fuel line. The old Ford 6.9's had a factory water separator that the valve to open and drain would deteriorate and eventually not completely close letting air in. It was tough to find at first because you didn't see any drips...

G3 Gator Blades on RCK60-29b Deck on B2620

We have a Grasshopper Zero Turn, and I noticed a difference in blade effect depending on moisture in grass. Spring, when grass has much more moisture the blades have little effect. Wait until fall when grass is dryer and gator blades do a much better job of "grinding" up the grass and leaves.

Home made brush hog / grass cutter

Alexisferos, is your design so you can slide your 3-point hookup to any position behind your tractor, to make it an offset mower if you need to? Smallest offset mower I've ever seen was a 9' Bush Hog brand. Nice for mowing ditches or along tree rows. Nice work, I can see you are detail oriented!!

    Kubota L305DT Secondary Clutch Adjustment???

Zatzke, Before you do any adjusting, check this out. If you were setting on the tractor, down by your left toe is a lever. It's called a "clutch pedal stopper" in the Operator's manual. I will try to describe: Say, NEVER USE THE CLUTCH PEDAL STOPPER WHEN OPERATING PTO POWERED EQUIPMENT...

Take your cylinder to a local hydraulic shop. They can do the entire "innards" replacement, or they can sell you the parts and you can install. All for a very reasonable price. Call around for a price, if you're in doubt. Be able to tell them the ram diameter.
