Broken, leaking differential B7100 - Foolish Me

Not to hijack a thread, but why (as in this post) are some post so wide I have to move across the whole screen to see the topic, and the pictures are gigantic? Then the next thread is normal width? Is there something I need to adjust on my computer?

    Anti scalp wheels

Just an off the wall thought! Take her out to dinner and tell her you decided to show her some respect. You're not going to call her "the OL" on the internet or in reference to her any more. Maybe she'll show you some respect when you explain to her why you leave the deck up.

Did you replace the small return lines off the injectors?

D750B Tries to start but won't catch

Sgt, sounds like you're real close to hearing the sweet noise of your engine running. I'd suggest you go through the process of bleeding the the air out of her again. You may be close enough to a start you could simply loosen the nuts at the injectors and turn the starter over for 15-20 second...

    Peckerwood

If you have an exhaust leak, separate the parts leaking and seal it properly. You won't/can't have enough exhaust slobbers to catch fire!!

    Peckerwood

Tx Jim explained it. Best thing for that machine is to put it to WORK. Quit letting it set idling. Slobbering will stop in short order once you make the engine do some heavy grunt work!

    BX2660 hydraulics leaking down

Wolfman you mentioned a lot of folks who can get injured. I had a friend who quit for lunch. When he came back out his dog was squished under the loader bucket.

    BS2660 won't start

This statement counterdicts itself:"the engine cranks, but won't turn over." When the starter engages and spins the flywheel, that is making reference to the engine turning over, or the engine cranking. Can you describe better how the engine shakes and exactly what you're doing when it shakes.

    B2150 tach not working

You may be able to find the end of the cable as it attaches to the engine, down near the fan and injection pump. Unscrew it there and spin the inside cable with your fingers. While spinning have someone check to see if your tach needle moves. If it's not moving your cable is probably in two...

    tier 4 warranty void

Here's where I'm coming from. The subject was filters and every post with the exception of #6 and #8 made some mention of filters. Only post #9 specifically did not mention filters. Then post #10 was a condescending comment to "boys and girls" about chasing a rabbit and mentioned nothing...

BX25 Bogging down and occasionally dies [video included]

Most fuel tanks do not draw fuel directly off the bottom of the tank, but have the draw tube sticking up an inch or so. This is designed to keep "trash" from getting into the fuel line. So you're not going to find a rag or something large covering the hole. Wolfman is probably saving you a...

    tier 4 warranty void

Well teach, since the original poster has been involved in the entire thread why is this a problem for the "boys and girls"?

B6100 front PTO shaft stops under minor load

I agree with the previous post about bearing failure and spline wear. You mention, "Previously, I had a poor battery and the PTO clutch would slip when well warmed up, but the mower worked fine to that point." This problem is not related to a poor battery, they just occurred at the same time...

Tractor won't go fast in any gear

Just one more example of statements which don't apply to this forum. "I will get the product number." Sounds like we're going to order electrodes for a plasma cutter.

Inexpensive but tough brush guard L2800F

How about cutting your tubing to desired length. Grind, cut, shape end to butt against wheel to fit closely. Clean all paint off wheel. Use wire welder to weld to wheel. Weld for a few seconds and cover with a water soaked rag to cool. Keep doing until completely around tubing.

    Looking at a G1800S

CumminSHO, If I were driving that distance to hopefully purchase an item there a couple of things I'd do. 1. Ask a lot of questions. How long you owned it? How did you use it, What mechanical repairs have you made? What will I need to do to it to be able to use it? What do you like about...

    L1501 hood/instrument panel shaking

I bought a set of turf tires off of a B8200. Looks better, nor thumping! BUT it's 2 wheel drive, so didn't have to be real concerned about circumference of tires.
