B7200 - No Lights, No Glow, No Crank

"The link is rated 200 amp according to the operator's literature." Sounds like it's protecting a welder not a tractor charge system!!

    B1750 with issue

I'd pass also. Why buy a project unless it's an absolute bargain? Like you pay for the tires and wheels that you can use on another tractor you already own, and if you get it going it's a bonus!!

Need to mow but leave 8" standing

The idea of mowing it high is to eliminate the flower so seeds don't keep the weed growing, eliminates the need to spray chemicals, leaves the leaf of grass for critters to eat.

    Seat spring upgrade

No way! You can't take things and make them do something totally different then engineered for. Besides why would they need to be from an old pan head?:D:D

    L3250 clutch peddle question

If you're going to keep it without the safety switch the bracket serves no purpose. To be safe for others, at least, buy the switch, wire it up, and adjust the bracket as needed. Sure beats running over someone, or through a wall!

    B7100 hst Venting injection pump

You ask, "Any suggestions?" Don't use "a little starting fluid". That will eventually lead to more/greater problems then you've already listed. If your engine won't start with diesel fuel, figure out why and cure that problem.

    Rough Running 2001 B7500HSD

What 1970cs was suggesting is to simply loosen the nut at the injectors, one at a time, so you can detect if that particular injector is functioning properly. You loosen the nut with a 19MM wrench a couple of turns only. If no change is made in the engine, you have a problem in that cylinder...

If I ever catch the ...

Ray, in 1985 I had an '83 Nissan Maxima Diesel. The car set fairly low and the oil filter was difficult to reach, besides costing $19 at the dealer. I installed one of the Frantz oil filters on the driver's side fender area. I could change the oil filter in less then 5 minutes. Changed oil...

    PTO kept running

Isn't this what he said he did? "I pushed the clutch in and turned the PTO off and let clutch out only to find it did not disengage." There's probably a bracket missing on a bolt where the spring hooks.

    Think before doing something stupid

His idea of putting the tractor in neutral and going along for the ride is about as ridicules as him pulling that load with that tractor in the first place! He's presuming he can control the tractor as it gains speed downhill. But when he loses control he would be in deeper do do. He needs...

Tractor Starts then won't start;Voltage regulator?

First thing to do is remove the positive and neg. battery cables (both ends). Clean them to a shine. Same with battery post. Clean the metal where the negative attaches to the tractor frame. See what that does.

    Tool You Made

Coach, here's a picture of it on the injector. The pencil injectors are held in by a clamp (and a couple of TIGHT seals).
