Mower clogged

I need help with my new Kubota z122r I believe that because my chickens have pooped on top of the motor that it has sucked whatever poop or feathers or whatever down into it and has clogged it because it will choke and die or lose power and throttle up and down and I just need help because I'm new with Kubota and everything and I just would like some advice on how to unclog it or clean it or whatever needs to be done to get my mower back out there on the yard

The very first thing I would do is clean the air filter.

Get your mower running, THEN please tell us more about this chicken poop fiasco! Pictures would (maybe) be great.

It seems unlikely that is really the culprit, but who knows? As laconbea said, check the air filter. Is it clogged? No other way for chicken poop, feathers, or anything else to get in the engine.

If the filter is clean, it's probably a fuel delivery issue. Check the fuel filters. Are you sure it has fuel? Sometimes the engine will surge, sputter, and lose power as it is running out of fuel.

Is it possible that you might have water in your fuel, try a little bottle of isoprophil it will help to dissolve the water or some Sea foam might help as well.

I am inspired to see a mower clogged with chicken poop and feathers. A mower will pull (suck) the grass up to the blades so the grass can be mowed off. How do the blades get clogged with feathers? Maybe you need to remove the mower so you can clean it real good!

How long has this machine set where chicken can roost and crap on it?

Is your real problem with the engine not running?

I read your Kubota has a Kawasaki engine.

Go to this web site and download the troubleshooting guide.
Many have found it an excellent way to to find a problem without needlessly replacing parts.

It's about what my B21 was under when I got it!

Remove flywheel blower housing and wash the top of the engine off real good. If it's got that much poo and feathers in it, don't run it anymore. That stuff will restrict air flow across the engine-and because it's an air cooled engine, that air is ALL that cools it, so a restriction will cause overheating.

You have a really good mower with a great engine. Take good care of it. Might have to throw a tarp over it when you aren't using it so the birds aren't using it for a litter box.

That's first...clean it out. Then try to run it and see what it does. I feel like there are two separate problems here, but you need to clean the engine first.
