    Best fill for tires?

Sam, since you're not planning on keeping the tractor I would say the calcium cloride would be the cheapest way to go but it will eat your wheels up over time and ruin them. Been there and done that. As far as getting the tire back on the bead it should go back on if you blow it up with your...

    B005 B7800 maintenance schedule

To start things off, welcome to OTT. The engine oil is more than likely rated for 100 hrs oil drain and then says to change the filter and oil at 200 hrs. If I drain the oil at 100 hrs though I change the filter as well. But it should be changed at least once per year even if you don't put...

    AG Lime prices

Hi Skeets, You hit the nail right on the head already. Depending on how the local rock quarry is set up, have you checked on lime dust from them? Some quarries make 1/8 minus dust and if you were to get that lucky it will work almost as good as ag lime. I had a farmer that came to my quarry...

L2350 Open/Close Hydrolic Control Valve Stuck

Have you tried spraying some good penatrating oil on the shaft of the valve to see if it will loosen it up?

    M8540 Cab Air Filter

The cost of that filter is hard to handle but it's worth it on those 100 degree days. I have been looking for a cheaper replacement myself but no luck so far.

hst-e or d whats the diffrence?

The "E" is for 2wd models and the "D" is for 4wd models. That is the only difference I know between them. I'm sure you can tell if yours is 2wd or 4wd. Hope this helps.

    Noise after transmission oil change

Most dealers don't stock it and they don't push it so they don't have to order it either. I promise you this though, your tractor had Super UDT in it when it rolled out of the Kubota factory. All Kubotas do when they are new. They say that this is done so no matter what climate the tractor goes...

    storeing equipment

I thought that was you when I saw the pic of you and the watermelon. It's been about 20 years since I saw you. I guess the last time was when you and your RR man had built that hot rod go cart with the motor cycle engine on it. Well, I'll take that back. I saw it just as it was finished and then...

    Loader bucket differences B3200

I think that Kubota says light weight but it just means it holds more than the loader will handle in heavy material. If I was thinking about a cutting edge I would suggest looking at like a bobcat or most any other skid steer brand and get a bolt on edge. That way it could be replaced without...

Suggestions How to Deal With Rocks

A friend of mine just bought one back in the first of the summer and his would angle to either side. He pulled it down his drive way and it would make a nice little windrow of gravel.

That's a good looking melon. That would have been the perfect size to ice down in a cooler and inject it with vodka. That's the perfect summer time treat. Hey ipz, years back did you have a shop on Broad st?

What Size Box Scraper - B2400

It very well could be the specific gravity of the rock. Some rock is lighter than others. Depending on which type of rock you are dealing with it can make a huge difference in weight. I bet the rock in your area is just a lighter product than what is down here.

    l3000dt oil filter

I hope you have better luck with fram than I did. I had one stop up one time and almost cost me my engine. The brand of oil will depend on how well you want to protect your engine. 15w40 Rotella from wally is what most will say but I think money is to hard to come by to settle for just...

What Size Box Scraper - B2400

I was a loader operator for 16 yrs and 15 of that on a yard loader at a rock quarry. It wasn't a very big quarry but between moving stock piles and sales I would load over 2 million tons per year. With a 7.5 yd loader it was normal to get 12 - 14 tons in the bucket depending on the moisture...

    Noise after transmission oil change

I guess anything is possible. I can give you this thought on it. When I changed the hyd oil in my Cat loader and went to the oil we had in our bulk tank the loader made more noise than it did with the factory Cat oil. When I put Amsoil in my tractors they got quieter than before. Your guess is...

I could see that. Of course 10 yards of dirt is quite a bit more material than 10 tons of gravel.

    New BX25

I don't know how much fuel your tractor holds. My son and I cut about 35 - 40 acres of pasture a couple of weeks ago in about 10 hrs. My M 9000 (A/C going) with 8' Bushhog burned 15 gal and my L 3000 with 5' burned just a little over 4 gal. Some of this was thick grass and the rest was normal.
