I beleive it is the PH7328. Use the correct weight of oil (usually written on the oil cap) I dont think it matters which brand.

I hope you have better luck with fram than I did. I had one stop up one time and almost cost me my engine.

The brand of oil will depend on how well you want to protect your engine. 15w40 Rotella from wally is what most will say but I think money is to hard to come by to settle for just anything.

Amsoil 5w30 Heavy Duty Diesel will give you the best protection on the market and as a bonus it will boost your fuel economy as well. Using that oil and a Amsoil EAO42 oil filter on your 3000 unless you are putting more than 600 hrs a yr on it just change it once per year. It's rated for 50,000 mile or 600 hr change intervals.

Hi, I just bought a L3000dt w/fel and planned to use mobil one diesel oil in it? It has 750 hours showing on the meter. Do you consider that a good move? JY.al

Pretty much any name brand oil with the correct specification for the tractor will do just fine. Rotella is one of the best oils you can buy for the money, there is a very good reason so many people with diesels use it. It doesn't matter if it comes from Wally World or a truck stop, it's all the same, but it is usually allot cheaper at Wally World.
