    LX2610 rear remote size

Is the plan to only use them when needed? Three feet times four hoses is going to be a bit to manage when the implement is disconnected. Foot long is enough to get easily hooked up and easier to manage Dan

Possibly dumb question about remote quick disconnects...

I can save you the time and expense. Lubrizol actually did a very comprehensive inhouse analysis of several different UTF products and the Harvest King oil was one of them. It is a surprisingly good oil and does do quite well in the industry standard tests as well as the JD Hygard (J20C)...

    Lost loader lift

Check the position of the 3pt lift control. If the lift function works with the 3pt lowered but not when its raised the 3pt feedback linkage needs to be adjusted. Dan

    LX2610 rear remote size

His tractor has a 5 GPM flow. Switching to larger couplers will do nothing to increase that. All he wants to do is match the outlets to the more "standard" 1/2" body size. Kenny's idea is easy and works well if he's happy with the OEM location. Dan

    LX2610 rear remote size

This is a common issue when installing the couplers directly on the work ports in the valve. The port spacing on these smaller valves is too close together to accomodate 1/2" coupler bodies which are typically 1.5" in diameter. Its easy enough to mount 1/2" couplers on the back of the tractor...

Why no carbon or other trouble?

I thought I was pretty clear - 135K on my 2007 335xi right now. Thats "K" as in a hundred thousand. Its my daily driver and not at all unusual. The straight six N52, N53, and N54 engines have proven to be very reliable designs. Dan

    Choosing between recommended oil weights

    Choosing between recommended oil weights

Lets get real. The level of zinc in modern formulations that now employ other ashless antiwear compounds is pretty meaningless. And even without that change in formulary the difference of 1100 versus 1200 PPM is equally meaningless. Grade 10W30 in the appropriate API service category has been...

    M6060

Thats probably how it works. Standard hydraulic trouble shooting. Start by verifying flow and pressure at the pump and work back down the circuit from there. WSM should provide lots of detail on that process and describe how the system works. Hopefully something simple. Dan

    To float or not.

Float is just a fourth position. You only use it if you want to. Otherwise the valve operates just like a spring center without float. Dan

4400 Hydraulic Issues - New pump, or no?

Start by purchasing a $20 hydraulic pressure gauge and pressure testing the pump. Make sure you do that ahead of any pressure reliefs or steering flow dividers. That will tell you if the pump is the problem. Dan
