    10kW PTO generator

Installed new gauges. They worked great. Liked being able to monitor voltage and hertz at the generator and inside the house. Four hour house load test. Cover still needs some work to improve ventilation. Monitored temperatures with both contact and non contact thermometers. Removed...

    BH92 buckets

Yes. A simple adapter could be made for any backhoe to use KX mini excavator attachments. Same quick attachment for several models with plenty of new and used stuff available. M62 is nice. Like my pre tier 4 M59. All the TLBs are powerful and easy to operate. All need special mods and...

    BH92 buckets

Not sure if it’s the exact same as the Kubota part. Made by USA Attachments for the M59 to use KX excavator quick hitch attachments. Had to slightly modify the pin-on thumb to play together. Best attachment change ever. So impressed made an adapter to use KX excavator attachments like the...

    BH92 buckets

Technique with different soil conditions, moisture, time of year and bucket use can’t be overstated. Better to bring up 3/4 bucket and dump clean than a full packed bucket and only be able dump less than half out. Different operators can have very different outcomes with the same equipment and...

    Old dog, new trick

That’s good advise about calling. My friend had 10 different lines around or under 3 tree stumps from 21 trees removed from property line. Using a auger stump planer and backhoe ripper successfully removed them all with no utility line damaged. Had his own detection equipment. Radio frequency...

    Old dog, new trick

Friend removing stumps over and around buried utility lines showed me the advantage of a grading or toothless backhoe bucket. Lot less risk of hooking or damaging buried lines. The QA buckets for the B26 have bolt on teeth so it was easy to remove three from the 12” bucket. Yesterday repaired...

Raising Tractor With Stabilizers For Backhoe

Found the stock stabilizer pads less than adequate on both the M59 and B26. Once they sink into the ground less stable. Add hillside operation less safe. OEM rubber pads help and add 3” height. Added steel tubing, angle and cleats for additional height and doubled pad area. So far been pleased...

    L4701 Backhoe Attachment Question

Being able to consistently swing the BH and sometimes lower the outriggers for stability while driving and using the FEL a must for our hillside farm. Some Ag tractor BH attachments this is not easily doable. Repairing waterline where it crosses the driveway. 80 year old black iron pipe across...

Just snapped outrigger hose line (twice!!!!)

Hose protection covers and heavy nylon ties might help. Supports the line. Trees fight back. Stabilizer rod covers give some hydraulic hose protection.
