    Tool caddy

Built this to carry tools safely with the tractor for various jobs. Bolt on and added extra skid plates to protect the hydraulics.

    Grease fitting

On my 80s M5030DT loader the grease fittings were British pipe taper. Newer B26 lost a 1/8” fitting on the ssqa wedge pin. Tried metric but no go. Used SAE and could start but felt like it was crossing. Tighten anyway and worked. Some sizes the difference between SAE and British pipe slight...

    B26 lacking lifting power

B26 loaders do not come off the tractors like the ag tractors. The valve is not at the joystick like my B20 was. The B26 has considerable more lifting power than the B20. The B26 do have design problem on the suction side of hydraulic pump rubber elbow cracking letting in unfiltered air...

    Differential lock pedal

As I have noted there are differences between tractors, size of lever diameter and length that would have to be figured out. I know on the gray one there was a large drip of paint on the tractor side that had to be sanded smooth to install.

    Differential lock pedal

~1.5” length of 2x3” tubing. Those are not set screws both clamping screws for the two collar half’s. My bigger tractor has a smaller pedal lever and required a smaller shaft collar. The shaft collars make an easy bolt on/off. Welding on even easier.

    Differential lock pedal

Hope this inspires some fabricators and DIYers to improve the design. I learned some from the first attempt to the second prototype. I do like the double shaft collars. They grip the shaft pedal shaft without a setscrew that can loosen. Also easy to weld. How much would you pay for one to fit...

    Inline Hydraulic Check Valve?

I installed a Kubota shockless ride hydraulic accumulator system on lift circuit of the FEL of my my M59. I added a 10,000psi gauge to be able to see the difference between the system valved in or out. Max pressure of pump was 2750psi deadheaded. I could readily see how the accumulators really...

    Differential lock pedal

Multiple tractors and multiple users. Important to fully engage when needed. Often dealing with other operations when needing to engage. Few spots when mowing it’s needed and helps my wife (boots) to engage properly. Spring return is plenty strong to support the added weight. Paul Short...

    Differential lock pedal

The locking pedal is a simple round bar. Adequate till your shoes get muddy. Used short pieces of rectangle tubing and double split shaft collars to improve the pedal. For the M59. 1.5”x3” tubing and 9/16” shaft collar. B26 used 2”x3” tubing and two 5/8” double split shaft collars. The...

SSQA LIPS (Lateral Implement Positioner System)

Didn’t have trouble with vertical alignment. Horizontal was impaired. Also part of the problem was tight tolerance 1/4” and parking inside a shed on uneven ground made attachment difficult. This solved that problem Using the same grapple on my old M5030 was even more challenging. Took several...

SSQA LIPS (Lateral Implement Positioner System)

LIPS (Lateral Implement Positioner System) Have trouble sometimes connecting to the grapple to the M59 FEL. 0.5x1.5x10” flat bars welded at 45*. Helps alignment on grapple ssqa. It's like it wants to jump on now. Don’t have the line of sight as good as the B26 and side clearance is...

Kubota KSR soft ride loader kit

Bought a NOS kit off eBay without a installation manual. Made to fit LA1954 loader and want to modify to fit TL1350 loader. A copy of the installation manual or plumbing diagram would be helpful. Can I just tee into a lift cylinder with valve and the two accumulators...
