    Kubota B26 service manual needed

B26 had a design problem on the suction side line rubber elbow that would crack allowing air to enter. Foaming and heating up the hydraulic oil to the point it come out vent at the rear. Never a recall but did redesign the line to reduce stress on that rubber elbow about 2020. Not covered in WSM.

BH77 adding hydraulic thumb project.....Soup to nuts.

If the BH-77 had a thumb option? Cost? Could probably custom make with a few OEM components like the valve. You are a pretty clever fellow. Foot pedal on the M59 seemed awkward so modified to suit me. Modified to suit me. Very similar foot pedal B26 was better OEM. Operated a 4-lever Ford...

BH77 adding hydraulic thumb project.....Soup to nuts.

Electric switched valves are hard to control grip strength and speed. If that’s a design requirement? Stacking rocks requires gentle grip and release. Added a hand lever to the foot controlled thumb help me with precision control.

Post Hole Auger, Once Piece At A Time

May want to install your 3rd function and test your auger before 50hour maintenance to help catch and flush any debris. Envious. Looking at similar auger systems for the M59 ssqa and backhoe mount. $$$ Would have been helpful 40 years ago and miles of fenceing.

    BT601 backhoe buckets

ESCO teeth were a free options from USA Attachments when converting the M59 backhoe to excavator buckets. Smaller, sharper and last longer than other teeth. Kinda expensive but highly regarded by dirt movers. Impressed by the difference. Would get them again if available. Narrow, long...

Servicing front axle on 3901 HST 4WD

Took hours to refill the B26 front axle. 5 quarts. Oil has to seep thru bearings. Took days for M59, 11 quarts. Temperature dependent so a good summer time job.

Servicing front axle on 3901 HST 4WD

Plastic, aluminum can, cardboard all make quick disposable funnels to drain pan. Switched to Lucas synthetic 75w90. Surprised how dark the OEM sudt was at 400hours on the B26. Almost time for the next change.

L2600 DT chocking down while running??

Sometimes there is a screened port in the fuel tank that can be plugged. Look with strong flashlight. Dirt can fall off screen when not running and then re-accumulate when running. A simple siphon with wand can clean the bottom of the tank. Collected fuel can be decanted to reuse. I would do...

L45 blew hose under the right fender and seat/floor, need some guidance

Sometimes cutting and securing a piece of old radiator hose or similar can help prevent a rub abrasion wear.

    LIPS (Loader Implement Position System)

Added LIPS plates to the pallet fork frame to help align attachment. 2”x7” scrap cut offs. The bigger the tractor, the harder to see sometimes. Some implement’s frames give very little clearance and are especially hard to mate on uneven ground. My 30year old grapple was especially hard...

L3800HST 400 hr service, Trans and Hyd are one correct?

Hydraulic filter is a course filter for the pump inlet. Early tractors had a cleanable screen. The HST is a fine polishing filter. Removing small particles. Usually more expensive and called a trans filter.

L45 blew hose under the right fender and seat/floor, need some guidance

That sucks on a new to you machine. Beware that Kubota does use some British thread fittings that look closely like NPT that have challenged my repairs and modifications. NAPA, Bobcat, TSC, etc don’t carry those. Luckily a close to us hydraulic shop knows all about them and can duplicate and...

Need a backhoe - add one to my b2910 or get a dedicated TLB (B21)

If you have the KX quick attach option you have many options including used. I like USA attachments. If you have pin on or other Kubota the dealer or smaller used market.
