Appropriate Tire Gauge for Kubota L2800 Tractor

I use a Milton Accu-Gage. I think if you look closer at the spec on the tire it will read MAX pressure. Not required. I don't run over 25 lbs in any of my tractor tires and my loaded R14s have 10 in them.

Traveller extreme duty 3% moly grease good to go?

It will be fine for the normal user. If you were doing extensive use with a backhoe and loader you would want to consider a higher moly content. 3% is what is in 90% of all moly compound greases. You don't want to use NGL#2 for bearings but it's what you need for pins. I went to 5% for my full...

I just bought my first tractor!

If you are set on a cordless grease gun and not married to a particular brand Tractor Supply has the Porter Cable on sale for $149 with battery and charger. You don't need a high amp hour battery for greasing...

2019 Kubota B3350 regen issues (HELP)

Have you read the manual on how to get it to perform and finish the regen? On my LX3310 you have to raise the RPMs until the light stops flashing then wait for it to finish and turn the other light out. Usually takes about 20 minutes for a parked regen cycle.

    Ballast for LX3310

For loader work you will want something on the 3 point. A heavy box blade with some added weight will serve as a better functioning box blade and double as ballast for loader work.

I just bought my first tractor!

Hopefully the previous owner passed along the paper manuals for everything with the tractor. Mine had the paper manuals for the tractor, loader, and mower. I still downloaded the PDF versions. You can call Kubota's warranty department with the serial number and they will tell you the in service...

I just bought my first tractor!

I use 5% moly but it's getting harder to find at a decent price. My full size backhoe consumes 2 tubes at each greasing. My last order I made the mistake of buying a case of NGL #1 that I haven't tried yet. It is probably too thin for Florida use but I'm stuck with it. The DeWalt grease gun is...

What's the right implement for the L2501 for driveway resurfacing/grading?

Deals come along if you are patient. I got this 6 footer for $200 with the rippers. I added another 500 lbs for ballast so it serves double duty.

grapple.. and stump bucket question for L2502

I have a grapple from MTL for my JD that has served me well. They aren't known for after the sale service but the implements are American made, inexpensive, and they have free shipping to a shipping hub or a modest fee to bring to your home. You have to be there to unload with your tractor if...

    Kubota udt alternative

My New Holland backhoe calls for their 134D spec in the trans, rear axle, and hydraulics. It has had nothing but the Travelers Premium in all three areas for over 8 years and no problems with any of them. I was at the Kubota dealer yesterday arranging for the TSB repair for jerky trans to be...

    Kubota udt alternative

Tractor Supply's Travelers Premium Universal also says it is comparable to Kubota's UDT. Doesn't say anything about Super UDT though. What size container is that Mobil One oil for $50?

What's the right implement for the L2501 for driveway resurfacing/grading?

By now I guess you know that a combination of implements is ideal. BUT if you want one tool that can do it all I would have to settle for a grader blade. You can angle and pitch a grader blade to crown and eliminate washboard in one motion. It doesn't work as well as a box blade for moving high...

What's the right implement for the L2501 for driveway resurfacing/grading?

For loose gravel and soil a landscape rake works good. A box blade with rippers is also a good choice. What ever you pick you want it to cover the tracks of the tractor. If you intend to angle the attachment you want the angled width to be outside the width of your tires. Angling either...

I just bought my first tractor!

Welcome from another "new to Kubota" owner. Although I'm not new to tractors. Your scenario sounds similar to the steal of a deal I got on my LX3310 cab tractor sans the attachments. I was actually shopping for a larger JD cab tractor at an independent auction dealer. I was up on my second day...

Kubota BX 25 Want to add a thumb to BT601 Backhoe, Looking for advice.

Understand that any add on thumb is capable of applying full digging force to an area of the crowd arm that wasn't designed to take it. That said they are extremely useful. I put a Titan weld on thumb on my full size backhoe and just broke it after 8 years. My welds held up okay but it ripped...

    New grease gun recommendations please.

I have an Alemite pistol grip that is at least 40 years old that still works fine. I have another unbranded pistol grip that works just as well. It might have been the Workforce listed at Tractor Supply. I had to buy a flex hose separate for that one. Both are fine for normal use. I did break...
