Traveller extreme duty 3% moly grease good to go?

I've seen in other threads and heard people say grab the nearest grease with some moly and you'll be fine. I was given a nearly full box of 10 of these Traveller extreme duty 3% moly grease tubes from tractor supply. Seems to check the box, is cheap, and nearby. Any woes or warnings anyone is aware of that I shouldn't be using this on a kubota l2502?

I was tempted to go with lucas red n tacky and call it a day, but free is free ! Already loaded the gun and zerks up with it so i'm less inclined to change heh but would appreciate any feedback on this traveller grease or really moly lithium grease in general and if that's ideal respective to what all's out there for a tractor.

It will be fine for the normal user.

If you were doing extensive use with a backhoe and loader you would want to consider a higher moly content. 3% is what is in 90% of all moly compound greases. You don't want to use NGL#2 for bearings but it's what you need for pins.

I went to 5% for my full size backhoe. I was digging out 5 acres of stumps and found the need to grease the machine was extended quite a bit. My loader pins would start to squeak in about 10 hours use with 3%. Since switching to 5% I never hear them squeak before greasing the machine out of guilt.

That is exactly what I use for the loader. It's great for general homeowner use. Low cost and always available

But since I have to pay, it's Red-n-Tacky for me.

Many threads on here about grease if you search. Many people feel that you have to use a certain grease or your machine will die. What is more important than the grease type is regular greasing. Regular greasing refers to greasing every x-amount of hours you use the machine, not every x- amount of days or weeks. If you feel that your grease you use isn’t quite as good as something else, just grease more frequently.

We've switched some things over to Mystik JT-6 from John Deere SD Polyurea. There was a fire where the JD grease was made and for about a year it was very hard to find. It's what's recommended for their round balers and it's good grease but it's not cheap about $7-8/tube. We still use it in all the baling equipment but about everything else, loaders, tillage equipment, etc. now gets the Mystik at $4 sometimes $3 on sale at Rural King. Over at the Bobtheoilguy forum they said you need to flush out as much Polyurea grease as possible when switching over, it doesn't mix well with others.
