    Ballast weights

If you are not in a hurry you can save searches on CL so it emails you when certain search words are posted. I have about 300 lbs of barbell weights mounted on my box blade. I paid $40 for one set and got the rest for free. I recently hung a couple of 100 lb suitcase weights on the rear of it I...

Lx3310 at dealer again 5th time

F.Y.I. There are FIVE "Fix as Fails" bulletins out on the B series and LX3310 models. This defective injectors one being discussed is one of them. They are marked confidential and not supposed to leave the dealership so they don't advertise them. The others are for: strong exhaust smell no...

    seeding after land clearing

I have 5 acres I've just been letting what ever comes up wild grow but mowing to keep the weeds down. Some of it still gets significant weed areas but they remain low. As long as it has roots to retain the soil is about all I care about. I just put out 50 lbs of Coker Oats mixed with 100 lbs of...

    Battery powered fuel transfer pump?

That's a nice looking setup. A lot of people bad mouth Vevor products but I have bought a couple of items from them that have been great both in performance and value. items I bought were through Walmart and Lowes rather than direct so I had some extra protection if it didn't work out as I wanted.

    Battery powered fuel transfer pump?

I have one like this I use on my storage tank. Works great! It started to leak once and was pretty easy to replace the seal in. Been in use about 8 years and maybe 4 since I resealed it. Probably about due again but I did put a nitrile seal in last time so it may last longer.

    Battery powered fuel transfer pump?

I think you got a good one! I just sorted the reviews by most recent and 4 out of the first 8 complained of leaking so I guess I will stick with the $15 ones. They last a while but all seem to start leaking at seam where the hose outlet is.

    Battery powered fuel transfer pump?

I've had a half dozen of these in the cheaper version and they all start to leak. Has this one held up?

    Skid Steer Mounted Backhoe

Not mine so I didn't want to share in for sale. This thing looks like a great way to destroy your loader. https://www.facebook.com/share/VC8bubXbtygNVXPd/

    The cost of getting old

One of the springs broke on my garage door during covid. It was something I had wanted to replace for a while so I went about getting estimates for a new 18' wide insulated door. At one point in the process I ordered one through HD for a little over 3 grand installed. They charged my card as...

    The cost of getting old

I hear ya to a point but I don't think I will ever get so old I let someone rip me off like that. I did pay a shop to put an evaporator in my F150 this year but it was $1400 for a day and a half's work. It would have probably taken me 3 days to do the same job. The whole steering column, dash...

    What a day!

Weather has been pretty good here in N. FL but still on the warm side and no rain.

    over pressuring filled tires

Over pressured, filled or not, increases the likelihood of a puncture if you run over something. Tires can go over small stumps and stubs easier if they can give and deflect little. If you don't run over anything it will just ride rough as hell. I'm running 10 PSI in my filled tires to try to...

Not a Kubota... but I need a bit of help on this tractor

That just looks like a dual control open center valve set. It doesn't illustrate enough hose connections to operate a loader. You can probably retrofit it with a joystick type loader control valve. I would pull one of the hoses loose and identify what adaptor type and size the valve currently...

How many customers does the treadle pedal cost Kubota?

There was a time I said I would never have one. I think the early style pedal is what soured most folks on them. The new style with offsets front and rear were a game changer. I go back and forth between my twin pedal John Deere and the LX3310 Kubota without getting confused or having any issue...

As far as mounting goes I drilled the ROP and installed nut inserts to bolt the bracket on.

    Fire extinguisher.

The unit I was referring to has a metal handle and pin as well as a metal mounting bracket. https://www.autozone.com/shop-and-garage-tools/fire-extinguisher/p/shield-fire-protection-abc-rated-fire-extinguisher/500074_0_0?searchText=fire+extenguisher Another tip is to find a cap that will fit in...

Kubota diesel buggy/ go cart/ lawn mower swap

That's a different animal than the weak K46 lawn tractor transaxles. I would just work with what you have and see where it goes.

    Coon Problem

Not coon related but I have been buying some iegeek battery cameras that have a super bright LED light that you can set to come on when it senses motion. If your wifi signal reaches the barn you can monitor with it but even if it doesn't you could pull the SD card to review what it captures. The...

Kubota diesel buggy/ go cart/ lawn mower swap

Most lawn machine gas engines run at 3600 RPMs. The diesel will be lower but should have more torque enabling a higher ratio. The challenge would be finding an old metal geared transaxle. I don't think the K46 hydro and later plastic gear transaxles would handle being spun up faster than...
