    Snow Removal.

My 520H Wheel Horse with a 44" snowthrower does just fine with rubber tire chains.

Genuinely curious.... are any emissions systems better for the environment?

Since I live near the Susquehanna, I had to look it up. All I found was this article from 1940: fire Maybe you have more information.

    Lightbar to Cab?

If you want to reduce the draw on your current alternator, replace the incandescent lamps with LEDs, that way you will have even better lighting and allowing more amps to be available for the added lamps.

    Expecting a problem next door....

I think that the problem has already taken root. Since we pay taxes to hopefully get service, get on the local officials to clean up that hog pen.

Loader arms faded...will warranty cover this?

Judging by the poor quality of the things that came out of Georgia on my tractor, I believe that you can expect anything from that plant.

    Front mounted ball hitch

I have a 26' "ultra-light" camper, the tongue weight is over 800 pounds which is about right for a trailer with a pair of 3500 pound axles and an actual weight of 7100 pounds. The overall length of the trailer is 29' - 1" with the spare tire removed. I think that the OP needs to get the tongue...

Z421 60" deck with play in one spindle

I have similar spindles as you on a Country Clipper. It had 6205RST bearings that I replaced with Timken 6205ZZ. I know that it wasn't the best since the ZZ bearings have only metal shields and the RST has rubber and metal, but I was down and couldn't get the other for some time. It will be...

It would have taken less time to tap out a pair of $15 bearings that it took to watch the videos. Simple job and you don't really need much for tools.

    BX2380 Draining and Replacing Coolant

I simply get a gallon of distilled water and a gallon of antifreeze and pour them together into a DEF jug. That way I have two gallons of coolant for only a little more than the 50/50 scam.

    Rotella T6 synthetic oil

Here I thought that positive crankcase ventilation verses road draft tubes improved the atmosphere in the engine. I mistakenly thought that a fair amount of said sludge came from lead in gasoline and unleaded gasoline wouldn't add to that part of the problem. I also thought that modern...

    Rotella T6 synthetic oil

I was going to mention that. Often bulk oil was put in those containers without a cap and placed outside to collect dust and whatever. For the really frugal customers, used oil was available. Blackstone Laboratories collected vintage oils in sealed containers and did testing on them, the...

How do I get work done on my tractor, been black listed!?

In did a similar thing on a warranty issue with the selling dealer, then another. If you think that the dealers don't give a rats patootie, wait till you attempt to communicate with corporate.

Advice on first real tractor for retirement.

Welcome @mailman, you sound much like me. I have a bit more land that I maintained with four 520H Wheel Horse tractors, one with cab and snowblower, one with a loader, one with a 60" mower and the last one doing tilling, mowing, grading, snow plowing and various duties. While it worked rather...
