    Broken Oil Drain Plug

Running two different thread pitches in the same hole makes absolutely no sense, you are just removing even more metal from the damaged hole.

    Broken Oil Drain Plug

I made various parts for NASA, they want inserts (Helicoils) in all tapped holes. When using inserts, keep in mind that the sealing washer needs to go well beyond the insert diameter.

    Ordering Pallet Forks Online-->

Fastenal made some big changes in their business model, at one time they were a hardware store on steroids, now they are in large part a shipping company. My local Fastenal, and I suppose most, has little in stock and isn't set up for retail sales.

Look what followed me home! Too Big?

    I finally got a chance to go there and measure them. 22-1/2" x 29" x 6" high.

Look what followed me home! Too Big?

Yes they are. The photo was taken at the sellers place and he gave them to me. He works for Thomas English Muffins and has trays for each piece of equipment. I like that they are plastic and dry quickly which prevents rust.

    Mini (Micro?)-Ex at Princess Auto

In Pennsylvania a trailer over 3,000 lbs is required to have brakes, perhaps that is the reason for the reduced rating. I actually hate the 3,500 lb axles since they have virtually no shoulder on the spindle to locate the inner bearing race.

Look what followed me home! Too Big?

I bought my 60" plow to use on a B2601 from a guy that was buying a 72" to use on his BX. Seeing his steep, long and curvy driveway my thought was he did a bad thing.

    Mini (Micro?)-Ex at Princess Auto

This video will show some prices and has a bit of information. Looks like under $5000 is a common price.

Drill Chuck for 1/2" Impact Wrench?

For a one time use I would get a cheap corded Harbor Freight hammer drill. If it dies they will give you a new one.

I think I've made my retirement decision....

@RCW the above is some of the best advice you will get. I tried to find a money manager that had my best interest but soon found that it is all smoke and mirrors. I now have moved everything to Vanguard and selected the funds that I thought would be best and it is working well. Read about...

    BX1870 slow cranking

When you get it running, either by jump starting or new battery, check the voltage at a fast idle, it should be over 13 volts.

Whats the go to grapple now that EA is out of business?

The long bottom will transport more material and has the potential to drop the small stuff while removing the large. I bought the short root rake style to do both transporting and raking my trails to remove smaller roots and debris. It is always a compromise but the root rake style still does...

Whats the go to grapple now that EA is out of business?

I hate my Virnig V30 root rake grapple. The tines bend easily and the stupid thing mounts higher than the bottom of the loader arms so they dig in the soil. The only way to use it is to tilt it far forward which reduces the effective opening. I know, nobody else has a problem, Mr. Virnig told...

    Rotella T6 synthetic oil

Since they kicked Aunt Jemima to the curb, I would use 5w-40 on the pancakes instead of buying from a company that had no respect for the lady.

Put the ring terminal on that extra long bolt and add a second nut.

    Am i missing something?

Apparently they want different available angles in the opposite direction.

    Am i missing something?

That's what I am seeing. It appears the holes that are visible are for mounting it in the opposite direction.

You won't live long enough to find another one in that condition.

I think I've made my retirement decision....

Hopefully your retirement check has a cost of living adjustment. Mine stays the same and the current planned inflation has reduced my purchasing power by half.
