Came to my trusty Bota to find it dead. Couldn't jump it so i replaced the battery. Tech said battery was completely dead. After reinstalling the battery was
hoping for simple fix. However after turning the key all dash lights came on as normal. Then I heard a CLICK then everything went dead. All dash lights went off and then made no sounds when trying to turn the key several times. I then disconnected the battery and installed. Same thing. Any thoughts as i have no idea where to start???

+2 on all the cables

Either replace OR clean the #$@# out of them - bright and tight

Good advice so far, and suggest you follow it.

What tractor are we working on? Don't know what an "L25" is in your profile.

Reason for the model question is that I've seen some horror stories of battery replacements causing burned-out ECM/PCM modules....

For a strictly mechanical machine not an issue, but if it's computerized somehow, could be.

Makes me a little spooked about changing a battery on my truck....something I've done for many decades....

Do some quick checks with a meter and know where the problem is 🤷‍♂️. A little info on the model like RCW suggests would help

Have you verified that the battery is in fact fully charged and good? If you have a riding lawn mower etc. you could see if it will work on it.

don't even know what tractor you have but I've seen this before

on some of the L series the battery cable splits off, main batt cable goes to the starter, then there's another harness that kind of plugs into the cable right at the battery. That splice often gets corroded up and when you wiggle it, say, after replacing a battery, it'll rear it's ugly head as a "bad connection". Look at your cables well.

If you know how to do a voltage drop test, you'll find it quickly.

Kubota never made a L25
Please edit your profile and put a proper and complete kubota model number in it, as that helps with answers.

Is there a chance that you have the connections reversed on the battery?
