Casey's makes a gun lube that I used on all the machined cast iron bits on my wood working equipment.It was a spray on. I would just spray it down and then wipe it off when I was going to use it next. This was in Florida and humidity and heat were big problems. Worked great for me. KC

Shaft seal for a B7100 is the same, my '77 B7001 looks just like yours and was leaking when I bought it. Clean out / off area well and pry out old seal (I used a seal puller w/hook), and just lubricate the new one on the metal edges and gently tap it in with a LARGE deep socket or thick walled...
