Hello All. Just bought a VTECKS FEL for my B7001. Its all hooked up and now I am at the point of tapping into my pressure side hydraulic line to feed the FEL. I know to tap off the pressure side to the control valve and back to the pressure side but unsure if the control valve that came with the FEL needs to be adjusted to prevent damage to the valve's internals. Will the fluid qty in the tranny be sufficiant? If anyone has any ideas, please advise. Much appreciated. I can include pictures of the valve assembly if equired. Thanks! love my tractor!!!

You should be fine with all of your concerns. The fluid level should be checked after several cycles of the FEL to ensure it has had a chance to push the air back out the system. Make sure you cycle the 3ph as well. Then top off as necessary.

Oh Pic's Too!!

I bought a used GB brand FEL for mine off of a B7100 and I completely disconected the lines and changed them over since I didn't want to have to source the fittings, and I thought I would have to cycle mine, I let it sit and idle for a minute (while I checked for leaks and it had already cleared any air in the system.
FEL had been off of tractor for months.
I put it on my myself in about 3 hours...

Tks Asbug. I will be hooking it all up next week. From what you guys are saying, the hook up is rather simple. Cant wait to move some dirt and get my lot finished. Thanks again for the advise. I will add some pics
