    Help with L3502 (Daedong)

Yes, rockshaft would be hard, maybe using a hook of sorts to see if threads are actually gone. If it is hard as Wolfman says, its more likely the bolt just fell out. Would need to figure out bolt size and length.

    Implements for Road Repair/Maintainance L235

A rear angle blade digs when you dont want and is in the air when you want it digging. Nature of the beast. Imagine it with a pair of wheels trailing behind six feet, so it doesnt follow tractor down through a pothole. Wheels will hold it up and deposit gravel in the hole instead of making hole...

    Help with Dead L2350DT

I bought my tractor with what was suspected a bad starter. Wire from safety switch to starter was bad. Replaced it and gas since been 95%. Ground was bad a few weeks back, just cleaned it and all is good. Old satoh at work quit while i was cranking, safety switch crapped out. Was easy fix...

    Help with L3502 (Daedong)

From what i see, left side has a plate and a bolt holding it on. Im thinking the threads are pulled. So next oversize thread needs to be tapped and a new bolt installed. It doesent have to be tight like its holding whole tractor togther, just enough to squeeze the lockwasher flat. A drop of...

    Implements for Road Repair/Maintainance L235

I have been researching this myself, seems the longer the implement the better. My situation forces me to turn around and back up, so a unit with guage wheels would be my preference. Im limited to weight as the l1501 is a little small for a heavier tool. Interested to see what you choose

    PTO and trans

I run my mower in pto 1st , at 2000 rpms , just a little under pto rating. Any attatchment that carries momentum shouldnt be run over reccomended pto speed. If i need to stop, sometimes i can slip trans into neutral while rolling. Then i can stop. Then have to wait for pto so i can get back into...

    Mice invading tractor

Check your local ag dealers for a product called fresh cab. Mice hate it. I tried all kinds of things, this is very effective and dont smell like moth nuts.

    wheel rusting around filler nozel

Has a tube already, a slight leak and it starts rusting. Disassemble, clean & weld up if necessary and repaint. You probably wont like what you see when you get in there.

GF1800 pto cuts off after it warms up

So as someone else mentioned earlier, i am also not familiar with your particular machine, but this appears to be an electrical problem. Possibly a circuit breaker tripping. The description of 20-30 minutes before it kicks off has me thinking. A solenoid or clutch coil drawing too much...

    B7100: Newbie Replace Head Gasket?

You will have to set your valves again after head is re-torqued. Use a good quality torque wrench. Take your time, ask at the dealer if they can print off that part of the workshop manual. Some might help. Some dont. Even if its for just the torque pattern ( critical) and specs. Dont forget...

    New L3560 Owner - Question

I bet insurance covers you for theft only when its stolen right from under your nose. Not for when its not on your occupied property. Insurance companies are trained by warranty guys, doesent matter what it is, the answer is no ir its your fault. Chain wheels together, or to the hoe, makes...

    Shimming pressure release valve

I am concerned with over pressurizing a hydraulic system. Sure the hose rating is 3000.new never twisted or flexed. Maybe in a perfect world burst pressure is 4500 psi. Doubt it. I dont really put much faith in a hydraulic hose, because they never fail with no load on them. I had to unload...

    BX25 Grease Zerk Size

Clean em off before greasing, i had a coupler get a little chunk of debris caught inside and changed four fittings before i realized what happened. Thread size on the zerks is 1/4-28" Typically on most machines. Some could be metric, but not likely. I bought a 100 piece assortment of fittings...

    something is draining my battery

Problem with this is, upon disconnecting battery to put meter inline, the fault may disappear. Typical with alternators with bad diodes. I use a battery disconnect, install meter and open battery cable circuit This doesent interrupt the circuit enabling a consistent diagnosis. Voltage drop...

How to remove pulley from 44" deck?

Oxy/acetelyne torch to cut it off. Grinder-best to do it at the keyway groove, less chance of hitting shaft. Price pulley/jackshaft, whichever is more expensive is the part you wanna save.

How do you disassemble this part?

The last picture, that bearing comes out. A little persuasion and it should slip out. Otherwise a slide hammer with a couple hooks to go in the slots and grab backside of bearing. I think a good slam facedown on a workbench is how i got the last one apart.

How to remove pulley from 44" deck?

I have used heat/water with some success, heating and cooling a few times. H bar pullers are cheap. Boiling water will heat pulley rapidly. Used it a few times. I can remember when i had to this sort of thing with limited tools, Forcing me to buy what i need to get jobs done. About 30 grand...

    Kubota Alternator/Volt Regulator

A battery that sees too much voltage will never go over 13.2 volts,2.2 volts max per cell. So if its getting hit with 18, it will boil the juice out. Also creating a highly explosive gas. If dealer says its close to new battery voltage thats a good thing. Unless the tester is out of range. I...

    Kubota Alternator/Volt Regulator

I think the voltage sense wire is going open, be it ign feed or a poor connection going to alternator. The alternator itself should be pretty well immune to vibration. A temporary wire from ign to alt ready to use if it starts doing it again. I prefer to isolate the problem-100% positive before...
