Just got my tractor 2 weeks ago and today I noticed this: Can this be welded or brazed to strengthen the area? Is it time for a tube? The rest of the L2900 is so immaculate (garage kept - 700 hrs) and since I've never had filled tires, I never thought to look for a problem here!

Your rims may be better or worse, you won't know until you're in there.

Has a tube already, a slight leak and it starts rusting.
Disassemble, clean & weld up if necessary and repaint. You probably wont like what you see when you get in there.

Plan on replacing rim, the damage internally will be greater.
If it's already tubed then it will go years before you'll have any more of an issue then it being bad to look at.
