    L1 75 loader problem

I find when building something, the second part turns out better. Guess this is the case here, that bracket looks robust. If i build something, usually do right side first, the left side always looks better. Did that with a set of steps i built for a truck. My brother used to make...

    L1 75 loader problem

I think the brackets should do the trick, just take care exiting the machine. I could see myself snagging my size ten and doing a faceplant. Meanjean: I find photos taken with iphone are more likely to flip. If the volume buttons are down to the left, then the photo usually comes out...

    Hey gang I'm back!

There was a certain time of the month, my wife would like to instigate an argument, would argue over the littlest thing. Then i realized she would fight just for the kill. Used to send me over the edge every time. A light came on and i wouldnt add fuel to the fire- walk away, go for a drive or...

    Hey gang I'm back!

I have been hit hard myself, two long term relationships that went south. Both were not my doing, i have this thing about being faithful. 23 years of common-law marriage now, 2 great kids and a relentless yellow lab. My pup is almost ten years old now and will run off if you let your guard...

    Front loader/ Rear ballest

There are all kinds of ballast setups Some are factory made ballast boxes, can be filled with sand or gravel. Home made ones, barrels with sand or water. Built so they are easy to disconnect. Another is rear wheel weights and ballast in tires

    Wider footboards

I have an L1501, getting on/ off is a little bit of a task. Considering adding a few inches to the footboards for a better footing to step off. Anybody have the same problem? How did you correct it? Adding four inches to left floorboard gives me enough room to safely place my boot for getting...

    B26 Mechanical Spill Guard?

Funny, i wish i had something like that on the tractor at work, dumped snow on the hood too many times to count. Not to mention the damage if its something harder than snow.

L3010 HST - no dash lights - will not crank

Deja-vue.... We just had a similar event. Ground and positive cables need to be checked at both ends, ground cable saw lots of load when battery shorted. There may be a fuse link in the wiring as well. A piece of wire designed to burn off in case of a dead short. Wire burns inside - leaving...

    L210 oil bath air filter

My opinion is to keep that oil bath in good shape, i dont think you can get a better air filter. Washing out with solvent/ kerosene as mentioned is the best. Its incredible the amount of dirt they trap.

L3010 HST - no dash lights - will not crank

Battery shorted to ground= dead battery at best. It needs to be recharged then tested. Most garages/ auto parts stores will test your battery for free. If it tests good, hopefully thats all that happened. I could go on listing things that could be wrong, but best to follow a process of...

    Brake-In RPM's for First 50 Hours?

To lug an engine is to put it under load at low to moderate rpms. I rarely run anything at wide open throttle, i think its a waste of fuel and hard on implements. Especially anything pto operated, like a backhoe for instance, may make things move faster but not any more powerful.

    Digging stumps

Something similar to this. I cut one piece of 1/4" plate the shape of the tooth.used the leftover plate and traced two more with plasma 1/2" smaller. Welded the three together with 7018 rods and ground an edge all around. Made mounting bracket, installed it and Stuck it into a stump and...

Kubota t1600 rc44lt deck bearing info needed

Yup, undo everything that doesent look like bearing until you find something that looks like bearing. North idaho wolfman has it pretty much covered, take a picture or two as you go, like belt routing and such.

L3400HST won't start after fuel line bleeding

While lithium grease works, if you have silicone grease that would work also. As wolfman mentioned, keeping air/ moisture off electrical connectors keeps them from corroding. Good you got it sorted out, and posting your solution will certainly help someone else.

    Digging stumps

I built a ripper tooth for the little hoe at work. Two foot diameter willow stump took an hour to rip out. Way easier on machine, cuts roots with ease.

    G4200H Electrical Problem

Starter has two terminals, one with big battery cable, other has a smaller wire. By jumping ( while trans in neutral) big to little terminal will identify if you have more wiring trouble or a bad starter. Bad wiring can lead to low voltage, needs good power to pull in bendix and close circuit to...

    L175 - Fuel Injector Problem

Dont know what i was thinking, i am confused. Too many long hot days i guess. If you do remove lines, be careful to not bend them, they are quite tough and you want everything to seal when you are done.
