    La852 loader float problem FYI

Just a note regarding the husco hydraulic control. After a search i was able to find what i needed to repair the loader down/ float on the L4610 at work Pulled the control off and removed the cap covering the detent assy. One small ball rusted and shrunk in size, falling out and jamming the...

Looks like a decent repair. I would go for it. Cant make it worse, as its already broken.

B2150 Pwr Steering leak up the column

Im sure a guru will check in here, now in my experience with pumps and motors (somewhat limited) i will mention i have overhauled automotive steering boxes. Seeping, pouring indicates a bad seal.most auto boxes use two or more seals above the bearing. One for dirt and one for keeping oil in. Snap...

    Log Splitter....

Im impressed. Have wanted one of those myself. Can see its quite simple in design. Could build the screw on my lathe, would just need to harden it after. Got me thinkin... Thanks for sharing.

    Was accident preventable?

A long time family friend was connecting an imlement when the tractor rolled backwards and pinned him between tractor and implement. Pto was off but freewheeling-it bored a hole in his leg. Somehow he managed to shut machine off, but remained pinned for some time. One misjudged moment can...

Throttel doesnt return to idle? L225

Had a look at it, seems shaft is a little tight at injection pump. Loosened nuts and sprayed wd-40 around the shaft. Loosened up right away. Not returning to low idle, but it will lower rpms to the way it was when i got it.

    Zero turn blade

Well, here where -40 is commonplace in winter the cold takes its toll on everything, leaking tires carbs freezing up engines not running hot enough, the list goes on. Taking the loader outside and running it to clear snow, as it cooled off everything gets stiff, even while running it. But...

Throttel doesnt return to idle? L225

My L1501 doing same thing- getting worse over a couple weeks. If i was to add a spring somewhere would i just be covering up a more serious problem, like rack hanging up? A fuel additive help? My intention is not to hijack this thread, we all have similar issues, possibly we can all learn...

    Land Pride SGC1060 Welds Ripping!!

I had a big ol oak hanging over my house, was split and rotting. Used 200' of super heavy rope and a sheave. I was beside tree with my 4x4 and driving opposite direction of falling tree, it was scary til it started moving, then pulled it over. Amazing how much it will pull with just one pulley.

    Was accident preventable?

Sorry to hear about the crash, your dad is a lucky man. There are no cutoff switches in the event of a rollover, this proves things can happen to experienced operators. We run our L4610 down gravel roads quite often, and it can get difficult at higher speeds.reducing speed and carrying loads as...

    Bent fel

One way would be to reference tractor frame to loader frame. And tractor frame to level. One low tire 1/2 the pressure is quite low. Bet measuring tire height from rim to ground you will find a big difference.

    Zero turn blade

That had crossed my mind, not only that, running it in winter conditions will shorten its lifespan. Didnt want to be a stick in the mud.

    Zero turn blade

Not that i can offer any ideas where to find a blade, looks like it would work well. Green ones have all kinds of attatchments. Snowblowers and brooms. An inventive individual could build something like that.

    Leaf/Grass Vac

Re: Leaf/Grass V I have a pellet in my basement, a second one given to me for my shop. Spent 1000 on my pellet press, 2500 on the kubota for powering it. It will take a while to recover, but i like the idea of cleaning yard to heat house.

L2900 intermittent electrical issue, won’t crank

If the switch was hot, then most likely its burned up. What happens is connectors get warm, loosen and start arcing. Micro arcing or fretting. May have to replace switch connector too. Die-electric grease or lithium grease will hep to prevent it from happening again.

Building chute and lift control for snowblower...joystick control?

Four relays and and four spst pushbutton switches in a cross pattern. But the mitts wouldnt help. Toggles would be the easiest. Please correct me if im wrong, source voltage should be either end of switch, and load goes on two centre pins. Or does it work either way?

    Leaf/Grass Vac

Any pick up unit with its own motor will be far better than a grass catcher attatched to your deck. Will pack more into the bins. Been researching for collecting my grass clippings and leaves too. My option right now is a lawn sweeper.i plan on pelletizing my yard waste for heating, so a vac...
