    bx2230d left rear axle seal

If you put a torch on that bearing-its toast. A bearing splitter might move it. Maybe someone else that has done this will chime in. I have made pullers to get bearing off automotive axle shafts.

    Tilt trailer malfunction

Anything on front of deck-chains, spare or toolbox that would put it off balance? Adding some kind of ballast to back end would keep it down. Regardless of whats being loaded, deck should stay down. Other than a flow control check valve what else would affect it? Air in system?

Whats worse? Dear john or john deere? Yes, look for any pieces left behind, clean all the parts and maybe someone here will help you identify what you need. Good luck. Take a picture of serial number tag, usually on left side of tractor (from the seat)

    L170 Help or advise Please!

Removing hardened 19mm bolt from cast iron L2800

I dont think you can get it hot enough, and heating bolt will make it impossible to drill out later. Oxy-acetelyne would heat it enough. Propane heat may work, give it a good long heat, then cool with water. Repeat a few times and soak with penetrating oil. The fine thread makes those bolts...

OB,welcome. Many great minds here, some still work. I have found some great help here, some from posting questions and others by using the search feature. I really enjoy my kubota and visiting the forum is like an addiction for me. Almost as bad as my tool addiction.

    Key Switch Starter Issue

My old domestic tractor has no safety features whatsoever, i keep that in mind when i run it. 1952- safety switch? Whats that? I replaced the on- off switch with a key type so i can prevent others from using it carelessly.

    Tire Ballast

I really cant see any benefit whatsoever by adding ballast to the front wheels. It pivots at the centre point on axle,by the time the back gets high enough to bottom out front axle stops im guessing its almost too late.

    Simple version of quick hitch

Tuff brand. Probably china. Was thinking about building a set, but im guessing 8-10 hours, time better spent earning money or doing yardwork with tractor.the way weather is going, times running short.

    Simple version of quick hitch

Just found these for sale-a little expensive but should save me some hookup grief What do you think? I have a couple pieces where pto shaft is a little long, adding a few inches will help with that.
