    Filter Guard Trilogy (final installment.)

First pic is what I thought would be the final attempt at the rear mounting point. (NOT) Of course, as per usual, I want to be able to see the filter for some reason, so bring out the expanded metal. This of course leaves sharp points, so I have to top them off, but I'm outta the square stock I...

    Filter Guard Trilogy (final installment.)

Onto the welding. Since I am not a professional welder, I like to experiment with different techniques and different positions or go left handed. Recently I had been trying to weld "vertical up" as well as using a technique called "walking the cup", and I had some limited success. Since this...

    Filter Guard Trilogy (final installment.)

As others on the internet have done, I decided to use the existing hole in the tractor as the rear attach point so I need to cut out a small piece and attach it vertically to use that hole. The rear tire was blocking my ability to use the hoist arm to hold up the piece as I have done in the...

    Filter Guard Trilogy (final installment.)

So I had one more filter to protect, so off we go.... After some initial measurements, I came up with the basic shape that I wanted to use. I must have made an error in my measuring or got things backwards in my head, because I thought for sure the right rear part needed a cut out to avoid...

    How to dig a trench

I don't see any balloons or UFO's, but I'm grabbing my dive gear and looking for that Sidewinder missile they lost in Huron near my cottage. It took 2 shots I guess. Giant balloons traveling at 10 MPH must be harder to hit than I thought😂 I bet I'd be the only guy on my block with one.

Got a couple of quotes today

I am also new to tractors and I should have asked questions in regards to hydraulics. When I ordered mine, I thought that "rear remotes" could be controlled with a thumb button, like the "front 3rd function valve" . This is not the case however. The "rear remotes" have levers on the right...

Any reason I shouldn’t buy a 18′ 14K TA CAM Full Deck Tilt

Personally I would get the longest you can. 18 ft seems a little short. I have a 20 footer 7k regular deck, and I am always wishing I had stepped up a bit more in both length and weight capacity. I kick myself regularly now. In my defense though, I did not have a tractor when I bought it...I...

    M7060 GRILL GUARD

OMG you owe me a keyboard cause I just spit coffee all over mine!!!!! I just went to NAPA and had them color match mine. The guy did a phenomenal job and I got 1/2 gallon for 75 bucks and it is an identical match. However, that is just for touch up and the like. I like the black contrast...

    Firewood Cart

I do not use the bladders. I purposely buy them without bladders due to the possible toxicity of the various resins and chemicals they typically contain. If I could find some that contained food products, that would be a different story though.
