    Moved 3rd function hoses

For the life of me, I can't remember why I decided to MIG the inside. I just don't like the spatter it produces. I almost always go TIG (or go home) Hmmm....oh well, I must have had a reason. I also decide that it would be a good idea to make it a 'bolt on' guard instead of welding it...

    Moved 3rd function hoses

I decided that having some "side protection" couldn't be a bad thing, so instead of a boring/easy flat piece of steel, I decide to complicate things a little. I knew the triangle piece would need to be trimmed, so a little free handing with the plasma cutter was in order. The first clearance...

    Moved 3rd function hoses

As you can see, pic 1 shows the new upward attack angle of the connectors. This should, in theory, make it much easier for me to connect and disconnect the grapple hoses. Pic 2 shows the "new problem" of the hoses hanging below the loader arm. I made sure that it would not hit anything by...

    Moved 3rd function hoses

I really, really, really hated the thought of welding on my loader arms for a couple of reasons, but mostly I could not stand the thought of grinding the paint off my new'ish tractor. I decided that the "stand arm" that is used for taking off the loader would be the best choice to attach my...

    Moved 3rd function hoses

I'm not sure if I am only one, but I was having a hard time connecting, and to some extent disconnecting, my grapple hoses due to the downward angle at which they were installed.( I forgot to take a before pic, so pic 1 is my only before reference pic) The other thing that bothered me was that...

Kubota b7100 FEL build on a budget

Since you are kind of limited 'welding wise'; I am wondering if multiple passes would help to strengthen the welds a little. Or possibly pre-heating if you have a torch?

Any reason I shouldn’t buy a 18′ 14K TA CAM Full Deck Tilt

This was my solution as well, until my back hoe came in. Now the hoe hits the ground before I'm on the trailer so I have to use it(the hoe) to lift the tractor off the ground slightly while driving it on. Now I use one of these to activate my trucks front brakes to prevent a runaway situation.

    M7060 GRILL GUARD

Looks nice man! Good job. I like the idea of having that bottom piece to block any vertical'ish sticks.

Will this idea ruin the coil?

    Thanks...Didn't read it close enough.

    Landscape rake question

Another good idea...Thanks for the input.

    Landscape rake question

I like it...Looks nice and looks like it works great. The only problem I have is the finding the materails. My scrap guys do not get 'bailers" in very regualrly. (if ever). But I might try making something similar. Thanks for the idea.

Will this idea ruin the coil?

Is a Heli-Coil an option? I've always had good luck with them if access is good.

    Parts are parts, right? Wrong…

Your persistence is commendable. I don't know if tractor techs work by 'flat rate' or not but you'd be making decent money on those now...hahahah I also learned the hard way. I have done a few automotive clutch's and always gone with OEM or better. (unless your talking about Mopar Dual Mass...

    Filter Guard Trilogy (final installment.)

My grandpa used to say "your built wrong...Your feet smell and your nose runs".....and that may be why I can't walk the cup. It actually hurts my shoulder and elbow after a very short time.

    Landscape rake question

Dang, now I'm even more on the fence. I should have asked something less controversial like "What is the best oil?.......JUST KIDDING!!!!! Thanks to all for your replies and the pics y'all posted. It seems like the cheapest route is the drag mat for smoothing out a small gravel drive. Land...

    Landscape rake question

I've been kicking around the idea of ordering a landscape rake. I have small gravel driveway at the cottage and a small area that needs a once over to clean it up a little. Last year, I box bladed the drive, and for the life of me I could not get the "lines" where the box blade ends to smooth...

L3560 HSTC rear LED lightbar install

That looks awesome! Very professional. Wow 10.1 amps? I recently installed lights in my metal barn and they draw about 11 amps and that lights up the entire barn like its a UFO landing site. I can't imagine how bright those must be..... Edit: How did you bend the bracket? Press Brake? Paul

    Filter Guard Trilogy (final installment.)

Vinegar soak to loosen the mill scale and break out the trusty Bed liner coating and we end up with the final product. This one seemed to give me way more problems than the others. I think it had to do with me trying to 'muscle it' into place instead of finding a good way to hold it in place in...
