23S -Sheared the Control Lever Rod end bolt

Maybe its just the way the picture is making it look, but are you sure that is "sheared"? Kind looks like it backed out (threads circled in green) and it just needs to be screwed back in with a wrench and some medium strength thread locker? (Ignore the green horizontal line, I cant figure out...

    Machine Shop Safety Reminder

WOW...thats brutal!!!! Glad he kept his arm. I don't wear any type of jewelry, or watch's or long sleeves, for all the very reasons posted above. People have asked me why I don't wear a wedding ring, and I usually just tell them that "It's too hard to pick up chicks at the bar"....LOL

    New to Orange Tractors

True story, It (dye) helped me for sure. There is no way we would have seen that leak until the reservoir was dry. But I could not see the level in the sight glass either. So win/win, for me at least.

    New to Orange Tractors

Thats a good deal per gallon. I was "on the fence" about it, and like @bbxlr8 I decided to go with the JD stuff because it was "tractor related" I know....I know....dumb reason. The other reason was that I did not want a "20 lifetime supply" taking room on my already over-crowded shelves...

    New to Orange Tractors

Congratulations on your purchase, I think your gonna love it. I love my 2501, thats for sure. I don't know about sagebrush, but a stick knocked off my fuel filter during my initial few weeks of running my 2501. I decided to make a shield for it, and the filters, while I was at it. There are...

This guy is saying the same thing, and it actually makes some sense. https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2024/12/theyre-trying-smell-something-ground-ceo-government-backed/ And since I trust .Gov about as far as I can throw a Sherman tank....It seems very plausible to me. Now where did I put...

If I was going to add an "idiot light" (and I might one day), I would make sure it was a "Big ole, blinking one" to get my attention.

Thinking about going from B2601 to L series

Just a heads up if you ever want to trailer the an L series tractor with a "bush hog" attached, at 18 ft, it might be "very, very tight". On my 16 footer it is "basically impossible". 10K is a good idea though, and I like the idea of a "tilt trailer", but I have never had one.
