Sir, that's a steal. Gotta love a deal like that. Also, your trailer is terrifying. I would have opted for the thick yellow straps instead of the 250lb orange straps. I used the orange straps to hold down a LS1 motor in the back of the truck, and had to brake and it broke the straps and flew...

Show off your homemade grill guards

It comes off, I've had to rebuild the splined shaft on the PTO shaft. As you can see, it's taken some bumps in the past 70 years, but it's held up. That's 3/4" thick wall pipe, and pretty banged up.

    Soooo Booored !!

I built a 1000 sq ft shop for this. I am still building it, adding on. Solar powered radiant floor heat is my newest project. I use the bullet heater for now though. I put pex tubing in the floor, so now i'm designing hte hot water heater, circulation pump, expansion tanks. But I need a pavilion...

    Fuel oil

When i rebuilt my 6.0 powerstorke after sitting for 5 years, I put 20 gallons of fresh red in it to mix with the 20 gallons already in there, hoping it would work. Sure enough, it ran fine. I forgot i ran my ferd on that stuff without issue. Surely if that runs, my 30 year old tractors will be...

Doesn't diesel get lubricants and such that HHO doesn't get?

    Fuel oil

I had fuel oil delivered yesterday and I asked if he could put off road diesel into my drums. He said it's all the same anymore for what they put in the tanks, it is diesel. It was dye'd red. I had him fill my drums and put it in my heaters and everything ran fine. I put my archoil addetive in...

What are we (OK, some of us) becoming????

Oh no, it's going to get a bit cold, and in the winter no less. This code blue bs is new too. And wind chill doesn't count if you break the wind. I'm sorry, but diesel isn't going to gel up at -10f wind chill when it's air temp is 15f. Properly dress yourself and take appropriate precautions...

    b7200 r4's

Well I went out to the shop and one of the rear tires was nearly flat. The dry rot seems to have developed a slow leak. The front tires were replaced already with a nubby firestone of sorts, but the rears are strait turf and in bad shape. For the most part I don't need traction, I'm on mostly...

    b7200 r4's

Doesn't tear up the grass at all. But I generally have 4wd disengaged unless i'm pulling on a hill. Spinning 4wd will tear it up more than turf tires.

Electric Cars - 12 minutes worth watching

Solar panels are dirt cheap right now, if you have the space. I'm putting up solar heater in my shop to heat the floor. Getting away from the grid is a good thing. Something like 90% of the population would be just fine with an ev as they don't drive very far very often, and charging overnight...

    b7200 r4's

I want to avoid chains as I park in the shop with concrete floors, I'd like to avoid scratching them up. I have a b8200 with turf's in the rear and r4's in the front and feel it really makes a difference when I engage the front wheels. The b8200 is also much larger with more weight, so that may...

    b7200 r4's

I currently have turfs on my b7200 and want r4's. Do I have to change the rim? Where can I get a good set of r4's for a reasonable price? I'm not getting the power to the ground in the muck and almost got stuck the other day. Was actually sliding sideways at one point it was so slick.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Electrical is a mess on my b7200, which was my fathers before he passed. Dash was completely dead. Most importantly, the flood lights, which I wired for him, but then he "rewired" after. Got everything working except the wiper and fuel gauge, but it's good enough for now.

    Kubota v1200 engine

The machine is actually chain driven, I'm mounting a sprocket on the flywheel. I do need a pump to drive the bucket though. The stock is 8gpm, I was hoping there would be something around that, but I guess it would be a bit on the slow side. The issue is, as you can see I'm not exactly swimming...

    Kubota v1200 engine

I picked up a newer(used) v1200 4 cylinder engine out of an unknown machine which I'm using to repower my bobcat which has a blown engine. I saw the engine run before I bought it, it runs great. However due to how cramped it is, I didn't want to run the aux pump via chain drive if I could run a...
