I like splitting wood, I don't like cutting wood. I'll split wood all day, it's a great workout, but cutting wood i have to deal with the saw cutting out, or the blades getting dull, or mixing up more 2cycle gas.
Thank you for your input.
Suggestions on what gauge and where to hook it up first? Am I hooking it up to the hydrulic block on the side where the power steering comes?
I'm trying to figure out the location of relief spring on the valve and what kind of shims I need. I think I have found where the spring is, on the top. But there's also one on the bottom.
My primary issue is break out force on the curl, it doesn't do what it should. It's a 1986 tractor, so I'm...
I really need to get a dolly for my drums, it would make it a lot easier if I could just wheel them to the tractors instead of pulling into the corner.
I had some trouble breaking into compacted dirt that I had piled up in a little mountain. So I bought a tooth bar off ebay and put it on. Damn, what a difference. And 4 bolts and it's off for snow.
That could work. Also I saw someone added a quick disconnect to theirs, which I didn't know was a thing. I only have to do it 1-2x a year, and I haven't been annoyed by it enough to do anything yet. And I built the setup in 2017 according to my amazon purchase history.
I bought 55g drums for $15 a pop, then an electric fuel pump that screws into the bung with a 40" pickup. When my oil guy comes he fills the tanks for me with tax free diesel.
The only annoying part is screwing the pump setup into the drum, the whole thing has to spin, hose and all...
I started backfilling the area behind the wall with dirt. Even at mid day the dirt was frozen, i was a bit surprised. I want to get teeth for the bucket, I think it'll really help break up the dirt piles. Weeds were growing as well, which had some root balls that were tough to break through...
Tires are fine, it rarely sees pavement travel. Front tires were replaced maybe 10 years ago, rear's are original.
I'll pull it in the shop tonight and take a look.
I'm guessing all those parts are available?
On my kubota b7200, front left wheel, i feel something seemingly once per rotation. It's been intermittent though. I was digging in the dirt pile with the loader, in a mud pit, 4wd going full tilt, spinning tires and turning the wheel trying to get traction, and no issues. Seems to be happening...
I used diesel kleen for 15 years. Now I just recently switched to archoil diesel service. I get 110 gallons of diesel at a time, it lasts me nearly 2 years., I want to keep it fresh. There are some tractors I use very sparingly, so fuel might sit in the tank for 2-3 years.
Small time chicken farmer. I have 36 birds. and even in the winter I'm getting 20-24 eggs a day, and 36 eggs a day in the warmer months. I sell maybe 15-20 dozen a week for $4/doz. Feed costs me about $30 with the occasional bail of hay in the run and pine shavings in the coop. I have a 3 year...
