I built a 1000 sq ft shop for this. I am still building it, adding on. Solar powered radiant floor heat is my newest project. I use the bullet heater for now though. I put pex tubing in the floor, so now i'm designing hte hot water heater, circulation pump, expansion tanks. But I need a pavilion next to the shop to mount hte panels to. But I need to backfill and raise the ground. But i need a retaining wall to hold back the dirt.

So now I'm laying block, mixing mortar, fixing my band saw to cut the rebar that i'll put in the pad to hold the block. Then drain hose, gravel, cloth, and dirt.

Days it's above 20 I work outside, days below, inside.

THIS is EXACTLY why some of us old folks spend our Winters in Florida! ;)
I'm very close to accepting a job at the pensacola area. They offered me a position when we were down there late last year. Pays about the same as what I make now but the cost of living (house + all it's costs) is considerably higher.
