    Kubota v1200 engine

I have had a hell of a time finding information about this engine so I'm hoping someone can shed some light on it. From what I've been able to find, it was used in the kubota b9200. What I'm looking for is a hydraulic pump that attaches directly to the engine. The closest thing I was able to...

Best Money Spent on a Shop Item?

Costco had 4' LED lights on sale for $20. Picked up a pair and hung them. Amazing difference, especially not having to worry about if the lights will turn on in the cold. My auto-darkening helmet was $30 from harbor freight, makes a huge difference. 18" magnet on wheels, I use that thing like...

    BX Rear Blade

I'll see if I can snap some pictures tonight. I basically just drilled out where the arm goes into the Y of the lift and mounted it higher. About 2" shorter makes for about 6-8" at the blade height.

    Best to ignore some people

I bought my house when i was 24, 10 years ago now. It's an aging neighborhood, by far the youngest guy on the block. Lots are a healthy 2 acres, so it's not to crowded. Neighbors have always been pretty friendly, though. We see each other and wave as we drive by. Anyway, neighbor directly...

    BX Rear Blade

Mine was like that, it was designed for something much bigger. However I modified the lift arms and made them shorter, causing the 3pt arms to raise higher. Now it clears no problem.

    Need help installing heater

I just installed my heater. It wasn't terrible, but wasn't a walk in the park either. I had to remove the alternator and remove/cut that bypass hose. I bought a 25' spool of 3/8" hose from autozone that would be my supply. There is a hole in the side of one of my body panels that looks like it...

    BX Rear Blade

I bought my rear blade on craigslist for under $200. It's probably 50 years old but very solid, only surface rust and a good cutting blade. It was 7' but I cut it down to 5.5' to more easily fit in the garage. It's heavy, about 250-300lb. The price of new ones is what made my decision easy. I'm...

How do you deal with snow?

I really don't like weather reporting with wind chills. Sure the weather is mostly boring and when there's extreme weather, it's the weather guy's time to shine, but lately it's been bordering on fear-mongering. We had a 5 minute weather report on wind chills to see how big the numbers could...

Slayer bros. Good source for cab hardware

I looked at their prices. They're fairly reasonable compared to other sources.

How do you deal with snow?

That's terrifying. You'd be looking at the potential for roof collapsing. I'd love a lot of snow, but that's power outage level and people dying.

How do you deal with snow?

Winter gave me a sneak preview a couple weeks back, since then it's been a let-down. Temps soared in the 50's and 60's. Just give me solid 36-48" dump.

What is that? Looks pretty unstoppable to me.

No movement when stuck in 4wd

When using the blade I'm usually in low or mid range. When pressing the pedal, even a little bit, if the wheels aren't moving at all, that just seems like it's slipping somewhere, or would bog the engine? The less pedal more power thing makes sense, though.

No movement when stuck in 4wd

When I run 2wd and my blade catches on something, my back tires spin. However when I run 4wd and my blade catches on something, they don't. The tractor can't overcome the traction, it makes sense. However, it doesn't bog the engine at all, I just push down on the pedal and it doesn't move. I...

How do you deal with snow?

How is the rear blower? I was always afraid of them since I have back problems, I imagine the constant twist would put a bit of strain on the back.

How do you deal with snow?

Initially I built my cab so that it could easily be removed by 3 strong me and a lot of profanity, so I could mow with my tractor. However I accidently bought a kubota zero turn, so now I can leave it on year round. This is the second generation cab for me, my first was on a '71 new holland...

    new to me tractor

I'd pay 5k for that all day long, that is a steal. Also in favor of changing all fluids/filters, they're probably original.

How do you deal with snow?

Finally got some of the white stuff, and showed no mercy. That 1.5" never knew what hit it.

    MMM blade removal

Get a pair of ramps that you can drive up onto. Makes getting under it way easier and safer. They're decently affordable from most auto parts stores, and since you don't have the weight of a car, you can get away with the cheapest set.

    Rebuilt my B7200E Steering Box

My shaft broke on mine, I replaced it with power steering. It was easy to do and infinitely better. The b7200 and b8200 look identical for the steering box. It was the single best change I've made to the tractor. I used a hydraulic steering box off a deere 318. The 7200 already has the dedicated...
