    Box blade

I went with the 60" TSC CL/Titan after seaching used for almost a year (during peak of covid btw) Also after trying to "make do" without one, I rapidly learned how useful it could be. There are a lot better but it works fine for my use. If you go that route (either size), Look for a sale, use...

Having fun pulling stumps with Backhoe and ripper tooth...

Thanks for p[osting & Lots of stumps here @ my place So far I have been doing them the hard way or letting them rot "a while" before tackling them (not optimal) I have done the massive pit deal when I get on the warpath, but a ton of work and hard on the backhoe It's probably not in the grand...

    Newbie fuel level question

My L fuel gauge is definitely non-linear. Took a few full days of non-stop work to get a feel for it. FWIW I have run my ford out many times (not on purpose or smart) but I do a lot of cutting over a large area. It bleeds out easily but I try not to do it! I don't like getting close on...

    Just bought...

Welcome and congrats as well! - It seems like just yesterday but I am coming up on 2 years - One of the very best purchases I have ever made. This group is awesome and I have learned so much from them. +1 on the front axle and checking the zerks yourself. I have a couple that were painted...

Replacing stock headlight bulbs with LED

Hi Dan, Absolutely on target - especially for Automotive applications. My thinking here was the delta in the power draw or heat was negligible (vs the older halogens for example). Also, higher output may not be legal for road use (not a factor for me, and could use low anyway ;) ) MORE was...

Replacing stock headlight bulbs with LED

Check your spec's and the base etc and then get creative. They don't make it easy and some sellers on amazon take advantage of that. Here's what I found for 2021 model L They work great and do high/low (night & day!! :p) PREVIOUS POST They make it really difficult to find an interchange part...

Best way to spread top soil

As others have said, it is more of a deal in your head removing the BH. As Nike, says, just do it! I have been doing a lot of major landscaping & grading. I do most of the major work with the BH & back-dragging the bucket. I then remove the BH and use my BB. I plan on borrowing a neighbor's...

    Operator Presence Error

Don't know about the OP regarding the cold, but that if what I was talking about. Unweighting the seat briefly "burped" the engine with power loss.

    Used attachment prices?!

    Plug Lawn Aerator

I have one - believe it is an older 54" craftsman. Had it since about 2000 and does a great job but it works best if I load up the weight. Use with my smaller f@rd. I use a combo of cinder blocks, older bolt-on tractor wheel weights, and any "right-sized" boulders or stone that is handy.

    Operator Presence Error

Not the same model but initially mine was super sensitive over bumps on trails etc. Drove me crazy enough to wire-tie it after I figured it out ;)

    Chainsaw Mount

Constantly struggling with this myself as I do a lot of firewood and trails, but haven't gotten around to it yet. I'm thinking of making one and collecting some ideas from the group here Some of their pics (not mine) Maybe search the archives as a number of folks have done some decent...

    B26 or l47

Looks like you ordered the L47 so this may be hindsight but a couple of thoughts based on your OP and the comments so far FWIW... My neighbor has a B26 and it is a beast and punches WAY above its weight. That being said the list of questions posted by @Psufan ran through my mind as well. I...

    Drainage on trail

Glad you solved it! I have found that no amount of thinking or planning can substitute for actually watching during a real-world torrential event. It WILL flow downhill no matter what... ;) We are a muddy mess down here in PA this winter. PS: Love my backhoe as well - I have made a number...

    " Firestarters" for woodstoves ?

tons of kindling in the form of small fallen branches around here. Use a couple of 5 gal buckets and switch them out. Noodles and splitter trash are good... Run mostly 24/7 but have been known to use an occasional squirt of diesel out of an old mustard bottle! :p
