Hello,

I have an LX2610 without a cab and am looking for a good chainsaw holder for it.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Rawson

Constantly struggling with this myself as I do a lot of firewood and trails, but haven't gotten around to it yet.

I'm thinking of making one and collecting some ideas from the group here
Some of their pics (not mine) Maybe search the archives as a number of folks have done some decent functional and good-looking ones.

Also, there are a number available for purchase but I like the idea of wood construction on the sleeve to protect the tractor & chain Plus, the ability to repair/replace it if it gets messed up over time.

I have the sawhaul and it works well, easy to install.

I have thought about Tractor Mike's ROPS Caddy for chainsaw/saw fuel and many other uses (can carry all types of items - not a one trick pony). At $295, the price is reasonable. It is just a matter of time before I buy one.

Only problem with that one is in the woods (at least in my overgrown woods) I can see a branch knocking off the saw and not see it because it's behind me. But that might be more a concern with me getting in to widen deer paths to make some nice walking trails around here....

I made one, three carriage bolts attach it to the loader frame. Half jokingly I made it all out of stuff that was already lying around, including a tin can and a leaking lawnmower gas tank (shelf to hold fuel, bar-oil, scrench, etc). I do need to swap for some wingnuts next time I put it on.

For my uses, I combined saw holders and tray with my ballast box…it works very well…however doesn’t solve the issue if use it a brush cutter on the back and want to bring saw along.

Get or build yourself a good 3PH mounted carry-all. Chainsaw, gas can, oil can, lunchbox, and everything else you need can be kept in it. Plus, if it is heavy enough, will make a good counter-weight.

Tagged for tomorrow. I have pictures on my work pc, of a rack that is more than just a saw carrier.

I’ve posted them here before, just can’t find them ATM.

Here is the rack on amazon. Poster said he just had to buy some square U bolts at the hardware store.

These are not my pictures, stole them fair and square from facebook.
Also just realized you have an LX, this may not work.

I made two from cdx plywood - when it was affordable. I like it behind the loader column and not sticking out.

Very inspiring.....How is it attached? I cant tell from the pictures.
5 bolts.
Also incorporates skid plates for hydraulic lines.

Welded a similar square tube to the B26. Handy to carry chain, saw, long handle tools.
