    Piranha toothbar questions

I have the std and like most above had no reason to remove it - I love it and you learn quickly about hitting the edge and then never, ever do it again. That and most of my property is mixed rock which took away the razor-like edge 😬

    Mechanical Thumb Question

I I would love one and see where they would be GREAT but "do the dance" due to budget. BTW - I've gotten pretty efficient at it :p edit - not that I'm not getting other "stuff" ex. the WM stump grinder this year!

    Mechanical Thumb Question

I will let more knowledgeable people chime in to double check but I have a factory BH77 and Kubota mechanical thumb and understand that it is just that = mechanical and no changes to the hydraulics with the install.

    Familiarity breeds contempt

I live on a ridge with a slope on my entire property. Those moments get seared into your memory and you do NOT want to repeat them ever!

    Leaving Tractor at other property

In addition to the above & Not ideal but good for the short term after an issue & considered supplemental is an Apple airtag. They notify anyone due to anti-stalking but it's better than nothing. You are going after the casual thief - more likely) rather than any pro of course... Folks have...

    Metal Utility Garage/Workshop

Almost everyone universally wants more space down the road - you think it's big "enough" & fit for purpose until you start putting stuff in. It's a balance of space, budget and needs. FYI Check out garagejournal.com I learned a bunch from that group as well. Pole barn is the best bang for...

    If you don't feel protected...

I'm originally from Delaware and the N/S highway goes VERY near the end of the runway at Dover. I have been under landing C5As that were so close overhead that they appeared too slow to fly due to their immense size. There is nothing I can compare it to! The main contingent was there for...

BX as a Bead Breaker (for tires)

Use this same one (HF Manual) and saved me a lot of hassle over the years. FWIW The hardest job was the new front R14 from my L that I put three nails through (self-inflicted pain)

Tow strap recommendation for tree removal?

Major deja vu - I went down this rabbit hole with an ugly situation with an even smaller cherry. I have shagbarks also and have brought down a number of them - heavy and hard as hell but BTUs to melt your stove if you're not careful. Here is my link to the thread on pulling and lines - GREAT...

    Recommendations on post hole digger

Here is my 2 cents - I have an older TSC Countyline PHD with a normal 9" auger. It's been a while and this post made me curious so I went out to check and it only says Speeco on the back of the manual nowhere I can see on the unit (knew their splitters were also Speeco- have one of those also)...

    New Member/New projects

Love it and welcome! I too have mostly been land "re-scaping". The toothbar & BB are key. BTW I am very jealous of your nice soil - mine is very rocky (thus the BH) I am 3/4 done with a major project that should theoretically require a much bigger machine. I enjoy the seat time and...

    KTAC cover?

Curious about this as well - have had a few minor things but the time w/out tractor plus the deductible had me fix it myself (was a self inflicted front tire & wheel fiasco) keep us posted

    Bluetooth Radio Options?

Check out Crutchfield if you want an installed unit. Call their tech line and they can guide & fix you up. FWIW: A Couple of alternatives & my simple solution for classic cars is a digital amp that you stream to vs a head unit or even just a decent BT portable speak (they have gotten very good...

    Shear bolt

I'm with Wolfman: I have developed an intense interest in this over the years with the 60"mmm on my older tractor. Since moving to PA and the inherent ability of my property to continually "grow" rocks, I have not only sheared the bolt, but also the gear in the driveline for the mid-pto on my...
