    Snow removal

+1 for the jeep ;) I have a 7' plow on my Jeep TJ for snow duty Already had it before my Kubota but it was much better in serious snow than my friend's rear-mounted tractor blade

What does the sticker on your vehicle say about you or what people may think about you

Vintage NHRA & small US flag on my truck

    Mice

Hate them and constant war - they get into storage area, stored cars and even chewed through my Jeep soft top while off over the winter. I use the refillable bait boxes, snap traps when it gets bad - due to dogs, other options are out. Cat are great but outdoor ones don't work for us edit -...

    Drainage on trail

Nice write-up & great work - missed that section completely... I really could use a small sawmill and am active over on Arboristsite.com learning about them (mostly the firewood section though)

    Magnetic mirrors

FWIW I used mini welding clamps with some cut-up inner tube in between to keep them on - I knock them out of alignment here & there but haven't come off once in the last year

    Drainage on trail

I have the same as far as rocks go - maybe more... I joke, but it's actual fact that I have rocks between softball and suburban+ sizes (glacial deposits). I pick my battles and mentally grade by the % of rock when I dig. You never quite know when you hit the tip of am iceberg here! That is a...

    Drainage on trail

Beautiful tractor shed - love it. FWIW I am on a ridge and have gotten many tough lessons from mother nature on water flowing downhill - H Sandy & H Isaias in particular. :( I had an existing detached garage and added a 12x38 tractor shed close by perpendicular to the fall-line slope (fwiw...

    Does anyone Collect Antique Cars?

I'm pretty eclectic when it comes to interests - pretty much anything with an engine... :p I normally don't post on this, but I'll play as this is a great group! - 72 Oldsmobile conv from when I started driving; did the body & dropped in a worked 455 in early 90s (now dressed as W30 with...

A RED Kubota…?? Really..?? And Why Leasing may beat buying.

Saw this recently while picking up a used part for my Ford - had to snap a pic Guy at the part counter just shrugged when I asked about the color  No photo editing involved!

Ssqa trailer mover and polesaw mount.

right there in the title... ;) Got you. I am a bit old school with trees and firewood - that is a stretch for me and would not save any labor in my woods. I AM really interested in front hitch as I keep the BH on the back most of the time edit - I prob would drop a big limb right across...

Must be me today and get the front horizontal part, but a little thick on the vertical receiver uses? Like it - nice job

    Woodland Mills WG24 Stump Grinder

Killing me also - I am already mentally sold on it, and have a massive amount of need, but have to wait for the budget to catch up.... Nice to know they were able to ship right away or maybe you just got lucky!

    Lawnmower junkyards

Thanks for posting. I am in the region and have never heard of these. I have found some for my ford south & west of you but they believe all the parts are "made of gold". Are these mostly small gas mowers?

L2501 lands, pleasantly surprised with power!

Welcome - lots of great info and advice on here. Mine was the "goldilocks" choice for me also and does everything that I ask of it. IMO - You will NOT be disappointed with the R14s vs R1s They are a great option and I have had mine in DEEP mud and slop with no issues / good over lawn etc.

    Initial implements for L3560LE?

FWIW - Way different state but very similar conditions w/ rocks & hills - I quickly ordered the pirana for the bucket (game changer) I thought I would get by with the bucket (no chance) and went with the 60" BB after my first real grading project. I have no experience with rear blade other...

I was dumb. Now Kubota wants me to 'pay for it'.

SO... After moving to PA on a ridge with lots of stone & obstacles, my previously pristine 25 y/o 60mmm on my F@rd goes through these after 12 years here. It is just a matter of time even with permanent Loctite & grade 8 bolts no matter how careful I try to be. Now I make checking them part of...

Broke casting on backhoe and backhoe leaking

Right - and so my thoughts would be it should hold up to that and not cracked. I have been getting "better" ingrained habits after spending a lot of time with mine but still have the occasion brain lapse and go against the pin. I would be shocked to think it is not meant to hold against that...

    B2601 Piranha Bar mounting

Mine has been on for a year. I back-drag dirt a lot and gravel occasionally and have never felt the need to remove it yet... I vote for the extra volume also but I did not have a bolt one to have to make the choice myself. For my soil (which is filled with various percentages of rock - ugh)...

Broke casting on backhoe and backhoe leaking

We know that every size has limitations and can under or over-perform etc. Maybe it was or was not considered abuse given the colorful description... My thoughts are: The BH70 was sold with and designed for the stock tractor he has it on by Kubota. He was digging with it - If it was too...
