    Fifty Hour Maintenance

For those coming up on fifty hours on an L series tractor or just wanting to know what's coming I found this on Tractor by Net: https://diymyway.net/2019/10/15/kubota-l-series-50-hour-maintenance/

    2011 Kubota L3200 fair value

I don't know tractor values at all - other than used ones around here seem to go for almost as much as new. Check out the price of a new L3301 similarly equipped and drop it by fifteen or twenty percent. If your tractor is old enough to predate the Tier IV emissions requirements it may be...

I found this site right after I bought

Welcome to OTT, 3bfarm. What a coincidence - I didn't find this site until after I purchased a Kubota either. I learned I didn't pay bottom dollar but I didn't pay top dollar, either. I felt the deal was fair and I absolutely LOVE my L2501. I hope you're as happy with your purchase.

    New B2401 - Thoughts?

I believe Kubota is introducing a smaller member of the L family as well, the LX series. I have an L series tractor with HST. I have an older tractor with eighteen forward gears. I mostly use my tractor for mowing and thus far much prefer the HST. With a standard transmission you set the...

No rear lights or flasher lights on L 4310

It does indeed sound like you may have bumped or pulled something loose behind the dash. Wiring diagrams are not known for their ability to pin down physical locations of connectors. You may need to spend a bit more "quality" time behind the dash. If that's where you found your glow plug...

L1802 3 point slow when raising

Since you're working on one you can be pretty sure there really is a L1802. http://www.tractordata.com/farm-tractors/007/7/7/7773-kubota-l1802.html I believe your problem is Kubota never imported that model into this country. That makes it a grey market tractor and dealers do not support...

    B2601 Temp Gauge

To properly respond to your question one would need to be there to troubleshoot your issue. You can measure the cold and hot resistance of your sensor in the engine block. You can substitute different resistors for it to see how your gauge responds. You can check the temperature at which your...

    Steering arm

Would it be possible to have it welded or otherwise repaired? I don't know the size of the material or what it looks like but I had a machinist repair a broken front axle on my old Mitsubishi tractor. He squared the ends then bored and threaded each half and put the threaded portion of a one...

    Kubota L4740

Re: Kubotal4740 I just carefully reread the posts. I note you left the FEL in the up position. That would put its cylinders full of fluid. They should have been down to be sure the fluid was emptied from them. That may be the cause of your volume discrepancy.

    M9000 Fuel Issue?

It is possible you have an algae build up near or at the fuel tank exit. If you can remove the tank fitting you can easily check that. You could then use an algicide additive to control it.

    G6200 keys: are they universal?

Which leaves me wondering why they sell a switch with or without a key. Perhaps the one sold without a key uses the generic Kubota key while the one sold with a key uses a cut key.

    Kubota L4740

Re: Kubotal4740 An oil level is usually measured with the dipstick fully inserted. Be sure your FEL and three point are fully lowered to put their fluid back into the reservoir.

    B8200D awakening

You will have to physically hold the glow plug switch for the allotted time. Don't forget to turn on the fuel.

    Quick Hitch question

From my observation the Quick Hitch appears to be a wonderful device in theory. In fact it doesn't have much tolerance for implements of varying dimensions. You may have to modify equipment to have it work with the Quick Hitch.

    BX Hazard/Turn Signal Bulb

Generally the LED replacements for common bulbs have a kind of power supply built in. The problem will be finding a bulb which will work in Kubota's somewhat proprietary sockets.

    arrgh and sigh...

I've never seen it before but as suggested I'd probably just run them until they quit. If you're careful you should be fine, most tractors don't travel at highway speeds.

    3 point lever adjustment

The height control lever on your three point hitch should stay where you put it. There may be a mechanical friction adjustment under there. My PTO lever didn't want to stay engaged but a bit of lubrication solved that.

    Fuel sending unit ohm info

Thanks for sharing that tidbit of information. Perhaps the difference in range is why genuine Kubota units are worth the big bucks. It could be a specialty thing.

    BX winter prep

I'm not sure how things work in PA but here in WA in the fall the stations begin selling winterized diesel. You could ask your local fuel supplier if they sell winterized diesel. Of course if you're using the same supply you've been using all summer you won't have the winterized diesel on hand...
