    Locking Hitch Pin

I have a large grade 8 bolt with a couple washers and a Nylock nut on it. If someone walks around with a couple wrenches and spends the time to remove it, they can have it! Never had a missing hitch

Best Place to Advertise my Kubota for Sale?

List it everywhere. It only takes one serious party to buy it, and you never know where they might come from. EBAY reaches across the country, and if it sells thru them there’s a $100. Fee.($125?) But worth it if it sells. I’ve located trucks at smoking hot deals on eBay, and worth the trip a...

    Looking at a BX25D

That does seem like a lot of hours for a 2012, it’s definately been used. If he only has a loader and backhoe, that’s lots of heavy use with just those two attachments. ( does he or did he have other implements?) I bought my BX25D in late 2014, it was $18,700 so I imagine in 2012 it was probably...

    Wanted - BX5455HD / BX5450 / BC2750

ILl bump ya up. Good luck, I tried the same thing, just broke down and got all set up from the local Kubota dealer. Nice thing is, snow on the forecast next week, and a nice, shiny new front snowblower mounted and ready to go

    Smart Guys (Outdoor LED questions)

If you have a Costco near by, they regularly have packages of various LED screw in bulbs for a couple bucks each, when you purchase in 4,6, or 10 packs

    Diesel Additives

Doesn't hurt, and ads Cetain. I usually get Diesel Kleen as it goes on sale a lot at the local tractor parts place.

    Smart Guys (Outdoor LED questions)

I have 6 led lights on night sensors that run all the time it's dark enough out. 2 are old lamps, that I replaced the CFL's with LEDs and the other 4 I replaced the whole fixture with the outdoor carriage style lights that are made only LED's. Extreme rain, snow, whatever, none have gone out in...

    Deer scrapping my new trees.

There's a blood meal fertilizer mix called something like "Milgornite" that keeps the deer and moose off all of our fruit trees and from scraping on the Aspens too. The only problem is the dog loves it! It is pretty inexpensive, and helps all the trees too

    Elk hunting

You will have a freezer or two full of meat, but the fun just starts when they hit the ground. I know I got 312 pounds of cut, wrapped meat off mine. That plus a 300 lb hog, I ended up sharing almost half of it with my family, friends and neighbors

    Tooth bar

That doesn't look anywhere near as rough and tough as the Piranha. I got a Piranha with my new BX in 2014, and still am amazed in how it digs and cuts

    Self built cultivator

I'm sure there are s lot of very creative folks on here that make a lot of their implements. I just borrow one from a friend, copy the design ideas from it I want, than incorporate in a few ideas of my own. I make them all fit the rear Quick Hitch, and instant new implement. And yes, I will...

    Hunting season, successful stunts

I guess I should have stopped and smelled the roses, and took more pictures! Mostly hunt pics, although I did swing thru Sturgis, Deadwood, and Big Timber. I put 6400 miles on the truck in the almost 12 days on the road, so it was pretty much drive, sleep, hunt, repeat!

    Hunting season, successful stunts

Having spent so much time in Alaska, I've used the .454's a lot. It seems to be the common carry for moose and big Bears. I just have always liked the .45 cal in general. You can load it down to extremely light loads, or heavy recoiling .454's, and even have extra cylinders in .455, which is a...

    Hunting season, successful stunts

The .458 is a cast performance 405 grain GC. I think the only reason it was recovered in the first place, is I made a 165 yard shot, going straight away from me, literally, aiming at the bulls eye. It was a total surprise that the bullet traveled thru 6' of Elk, and came to rest in the cartelege...

    Hunting season, successful stunts

Haha, because of all the recovered bullets I have collected over the years, only these two were still intact and it very good condition. I've hunted with a handgun my whole life, and know I can get close, to be very effective. The antique rifle I used, was a tribute to a dear friend that passed...

    toothbar= implement of DESTRUCTION!!

A lot of your technique depends on the ground you have and how the trees and brush grows. Here, the pine trees roots spread out across the surface, so when I'm thinning an area or clearing a trail of saplings, I keep the toothbar about 2' off the ground, push the teeth right into the tree, and...

    Hunting season, successful stunts

I've had two recovered bullets, from previous successful hunts, that are in good enough shape to Reload and reuse on two hunts again this year. A 405 grain hardcast .458, originally used in a 1874 Shiloh Sharps to harvest an Elk way North in Saskatchewan. I Reloaded it and used a 1885...
