Your tractor might have easier access to this location than the b7200 had.. Yes they wanted to split the tractor but I suggested they cut a small round hole in the side to facilitate the removal of the rod. They did this and welded the rod to repair it. I would certainly suspect the pedal linkage especially if the pedal feel is different and your hydro shifter is not out of gear. Happened to me with my original b7200.

I change mine at recommended hours or yearly whichever comes first. Mine is stored in a climate-controlled shop.

I have done the regular gates belt route for these type of belts and found that I was replacing them in short order. Just bite the bullet and get the proper oem kubota Kevlar high power belt.
