    Inexpensive Snow Blower Upgrade!

Looks similar to mine that I did last year. My switch is on my dash as I have a third function switch on my joystick. Have under $100 in it. Just could not see spending mega bucks on the oem hydraulic system to move a deflector that you can move with one finger.

    steering wheel

When I removed the steering wheel from my b7200 I had to make up a custom plate with a "U" slot to go around the shaft just below the plastic part of the wheel. I threaded a couple of holes to accommodate my puller. There was simply no way otherwise to remove it without doing serious damage. I...

    Mincemeat anyone..??

No problem purchasing mincemeat tarts where I live at most grocers. Just picked up some larger pies last week at a local meat pie shop. My parents made the originals using real meat when I was a kid.

    Smoking LX3310

When I was shopping for my new Kubota just over a year ago, I was ready to purchase the LX3310 that my dealer had on the lot. The dealer owner talked me into the LX2610 that had to be sourced from another dealer. He insisted that Kubota had not yet solved all the emissions issues. Last April...

Swing cylinder rebuild on 4520A backhoe

The 4520a is a Woods 650 painted orange. Google the 650 and compare it to yours.

Swing cylinder rebuild on 4520A backhoe

If all else fails, go to your Woods dealer and get the kit for a Woods 650 BH swing cylinder.

    Snowblower

Should be simple enough to find the source of the noise by spinning the drive shaft by hand with tractor in neutral. My lx2963 has no chain drive.

    Snowblower rotation... Help

When I installed my blower for the first time, I identified which tractor hydraulic ports controlled what functions on the loader. Then I followed the hoses on the blower to determine which hoses were for the lift and lower and hooked them up to the corresponding loader boom hydraulic ports...

Three point hitch adjustment question - b3030

When I was researching what pump I could use for my log splitter last winter I looked at these types of geared pumps and found them to be unsuitable due to clearance issues. Even with the 540 RPM pump that I eventually purchased I had to use a PTO extender as well as removing the right-side...

Rear weight options-Speeco with weights, or filled tires??

I assume you had the tractor in 4wd when this happened. I would be using my leaf blower to remove the leaves. For improving traction I would be looking at tire chains.

2" reciever on top of bucket

This is what I had for years on my B7200 assuming it was on the bottom cutting blade on the bucket. My new bucket on my LX2610 already had holes in the bottom edge so it was just a matter of bolting it on. I have used it to move a heavy loaded tandem trailer without any issues. Just a simple...

    FEL legs on b2601

I only use mine when loader is off and otherwise are left off. Dealer did a poor job of installing the third function tubes and are in the way of the right leg when stored. Besides I do not need any extra unnecessary weight on the loader.

    Changing radio in a L4610

Removed my roof last winter when I installed the radio in my LX2610. Removed required bolts on the inside and a couple on the rear corners outside if I remember correctly. I just lifted up the one side and held it up with a piece of 2 x 4. Just had to bend over the clips on the sides of the...

    It's a tractor, not a 4 wheeler.......Meet the 8th dwarf ........."Happy DUMBASS"!!!!

I think that this has happened to most of us. Got the old B7200 stuck while digging out a pond a few years ago. I was able to claw my way out operating the loader and BH at the same time. I doubt that this would be possible with my new LX2610 with cab. Another time while bush hogging around...

    PTO shaft stuck on tractor

I certainly would not be putting any excessive force on the PTO. Hard to find parts for this vintage of tractor if damage is done. My favorite tool for these types of situations where all less aggressive attempts fail is to use an angle grinder with a thin cut off blade as suggested by Dan...

    New Kubota Canada Site

When I was shopping for my new LX last year the web site showed all the pricing but that was removed sometime later. I guess if they can get you into the showroom you are more likely to buy a tractor.

Kubota K-600 - Replacement Limiter Cylinder

I'm new to the forum and am so glad I found you guys. What a tremendous resource. Yesterday I purchased a K-600 backhoe for my B8200. It came with the heavy-duty top bar, and everything works and fits my tractor well. When discussing the BH with my neighbor down the road (who I purchased it...

First Tractor - New (to me!!) L2501DT

I only use rear attachments or a ballast box for weight as I want to be easy on the front axle. This also makes it easier to trailer. That is one nice tractor for the money and hours. Unless the original purchaser's situation changed, I wonder why they bought the tractor in the first place if...

How to convert bh77 from power beyond to open center

Exactly correct! these gear pumps are positive displacement so flow is determined by its design flow rate at a certain RPM. When I was sizing the pump for my home-built log splitter a year ago my math told me that the maximum GPM that I could put on my LX2610 with 19 HP PTO was around 11 GPM...
