    BX Fixed lift 3PH

Does the BX not have adjustable stops on the control lever? Even my b7200 had them. If not, you can probably make something and would be easier and cheaper that making new lift bars

Where to buy driveway gates compatible with electric openers?

I agree that you will probably have to have one custom built to suite your requirements by a weld shop. Here is a picture of a simple gate and entrance that I built 37 years ago. The operator I custom built but there are commercially built electric worm driven operators that are reasonable in...

Moving yards and yards of material, a hay wagon?

That would be great! Like the live bottom gravel haulers.

    Building a machinery shed

Yes, mine too. It gave my old B7200 a cozy warm feeling

What's the right implement for the L2501 for driveway resurfacing/grading?

I just use my rear scraper blade set backwards to grade my 4000-foot driveway mostly in the fall after my tenant has driven his heavy equipment on it. I just did this yesterday. Other than that, I periodically use my leveler which is nothing more than a four by eight-foot section of heavy...

Moving yards and yards of material, a hay wagon?

Great idea except that would make it a two-person operation. One to drive the truck and the other to drive the tractor. Conveyor on truck could be operated by an electric winch motor.

    The cost of getting old

The ash situation brings back memories of the Dutch elm disease. Getting back to Dans original post, I find it puzzling as to why a residential door company would not do the repair on his garage door. I worked in the trades for many years and found it a crap shoot whenever I had to rely on...

    The cost of getting old

I certainly have enough firewood to keep the woodstove on 24/7 during the winter. Have never paid for it. A few years ago I kept the stove running from one huge oak tree that had sadly died. I probably still have over 100 dead ash trees of various sizes. Some in the woods have already fallen...

Is the "B" series gone ?

The Kubota Canada site still shows the "B" series of tractors.

    The cost of getting old

You certainly have to be more cautious when you get older. Just cut down three massive dead ash trees. All double trunks up to 30" diameter and about 70 feet tall. One 12" branch recently broke off and went 40' into the corn field so I had to do something. Had my wife present with cell phone...

    Changing Tires on Tandem Trailer

I have an implement trailer jack on both rear corners of my tandem trailer. That along with the front tongue jack allows me to fully lift the trailer for wheel removal. Originally installed to allow easy loading of the tractor onto trailer.

    Anyone know what this is?

Cab models did not come with the neck cape.

    Stupid me

Dash light has never helped me. Buzzer or interlock would help. Buzzer would have to have a time out feature since the brake has to be on to operate the PTO while off the seat. Not fool proof. Probably the best way would be to install a limit switch on the hst pedal to control a buzzer that...

    Lx 2620 broken glass

If it is like mine it is curved. I think oem might be the only option.

    Lx 2620 broken glass

I am not near mine to verify but it looked to me as if it was held in with butyl tape. Possibly 3/8" thick, same as what held windshields and back glass in some cars.

Kubota B7100HST-D adding lower radiator hose engine heater **UPDATE

Just curious! Is there a thermostat bypass on these tractors? Otherwise, how does the water circulate through the engine if the thermostat is closed as it is when cold. Can't remember what the thermostat looks like. Does the heater generate enough heat that it opens the thermostat? For the...

    Snow chains…do I need them?

I have R14s on my LX2610 and have cleared my 4000-foot driveway a couple of times in the last couple of years since I got it. I find them far better than my last B7200 that had turf tires. Both with a front blower. The B7200 was frequently sliding sideways at the edge of the driveway which I do...

    Matching Kubota orange paint.

Dealers up here want $50 for a spray can of paint. OP did not say whether it is the old or new Kubota orange, but I just take a small painted part from my tractor to a local automotive paint supplier where they will scan it. They then mix it up and put in a spray can. The last one I got (gray)...

    Furniture dollies?

I have dollys for all my attachments other than the loader and backhoe which I have a dedicated location for. I had dollys for them on my b7200 so I will probably do the same.
