    Need some quick buying advice

You mention that you are in a chair. So am I and I was wondering how are you able to get on and off your tractor? I have a L2501 and I need the help of my son to get onto it. I climb onto the tailgate of my pickup and then my son pulls the tractor up parallel to the tailgate. I am able, with...

    Three point top link

I am not disagreeing with you but could you explain in more detail what you mean by you statement. The picture would seam to work nicely at preventing the hog from dropping at the front end and the chain would allow the the flex in the top link to prevent damage.

    New L3301 Odd Engine Behavior?

Check for a little bit of water in the filter cup. I know this is an easy way out but I would replace the fuel filter and if that does not fix the problem then it is time to drop it off at the dealer. It is amassing how many problems are cured with a new fuel filter.

3 Point Quick Attach for Rear Mounted Grapple?

Everything attachments has a good looking set. Long forks to get under the rock and rated to 3000 lbs. If you have the ability you could adapt the FEL forks. Are they quick attach? If so they make a quick attach to fit on the 3 point hitch so you could use your FEL forks.

3 Point Quick Attach for Rear Mounted Grapple?

Buy a set of pallet forks that can be used on the 3 point hitch. Add a hydraulic top link so can get some down angle to the forks to get under the rock, tilt up to carry said rock. You should be able to carry some good sized rocks. The store bought carryalls that I have seen are not stout enough...

    B7100

Look on Tractorhouse. Depending upon the equipment, i.e. FEL, mower, the price seams high. Until you get more info I would say keep looking. As for the tractor itself it was a good machine for me but it is small and light. It will mow well and should be OK to grade a driveway. If you have time...

    Need some quick buying advice

How are you able to get from the chair on to the tractor. Are you able to transfer by yourself? Without help from my sons I can not get from a chair to my L2501. I have two bad knees. I get up on the tailgate of my truck and then my son parks the tractor parallel to the tailgate. With help I...

    Found this while mowing

Are you talking about part of the harness for the horses, which might be bridles or are you talking about the single or double trees that the horse is hooked onto in order to pull something? Sounds like you ought to ask your dad what else is parked around the farm. There might be something else...

    Found this while mowing

It has the 4 wheels because it most likely was built to be pulled by horses. With the coming of the tractor the tongue was shorten and a hitch fashioned that would fit onto the drawbar of the tractor.

    Battery Master Switch

Do you know of a good brand of GPS. I have no experience in that area and the reviews, when you goggle them, come up very mixed. I like the idea just hoping to find a good referral as to which one.

Driving my 2650 up and down slopes

I think I would take the rear tires off and flip them backwards so that I could back up that hill easier. I do not know if it would work but I might try it once just to see.

    Battery Master Switch

Stored at the house surrounded by a chain link fence. However someone cut my chain link fence and push a big 4 wheeler over 1/2 a mile down the road and onto a trailer. We followed the tracks in the mud. I thought it was fine since it was fenced in. So I would like to make it a little harder to...

    Battery Master Switch

After watching the video from Messicks about making ones tractor harder to steal, I began looking for a battery switch to put on my L2501. All that I found on goggle had an open back to the switch. Some came with a key or a way to add a padlock. With few places to hide the switch I tired to...

Wheel Hop as your driving down the street

Was it a paved road? If so check to see if the tractor was locked into FWD.

    Rhino TS10

I was working on a bid to mow the fields around a shopping center. I have a New Holland TL80 that I use a Rhino TW-96 with hydraulic offset. However the TW-96 does not follow curves very well and the areas around the shopping center have several ditches and ponds to mow i.e. slopes both up and...

    Sickle bar mower advice

I do not have the need to do this but I was thinking you could purchase a Swisher mower to do the road banks. There was one on CL for $600 last week. I think that I would fab a hitch that could rest across the bucket and pull the mower off the right side so the discharge is blowing away from the...

    Old Rhino SE5 cutter ?

Try Tractor Supply or Rural King or maybe the feed store, auto parts store. Match the old to a new blade and you should be good to go. Do not forget to check the wear of the bolts and replace if needed. Some will tell you to replace the bolts every time you change the blades. Double check the...

    Rhino TS10

I saw this on TTWT and I was hoping someone on here might have or tried to use one. It is a 10ft bat wing mower that requires 25-50 pto hp, and one remote. It is a flexible mower which is what appealed to me, 90 degrees up and 22 down with 3 spindles. Thank you, G
