    Coleman lantern

This is a great store. I have been there several times, good people and interesting things to buy. It also has pretty good food. Plan on spending several hours shopping if you get a chance to go.

    Rock & Boulder Trailer?

How many of these do you want to move? Getting them up on the trailer might prove to be difficult. I think a 32 hp tractor might have a problem picking up a rock that big. A custom made trailer would be expensive. Maybe something old school might work, perhaps a sled. A car hood might work for...

    Time to improvise.

If you had the time and material to make that good looking frame why not weld up a box and drop the lead into it? looks as good if not better the suitcase weights. Well done.

    L2501 and a green tiller

I was contracted to do some repairs on a school football field. I was able to rent a green 5 ft tiller for a great price and used it to do the prep work. My goodness what a surprise. That tiller was amazing. Running it in low range and at 540 rpm it just chugged along. You could not even hear it...

    L3901 with QH15 quick hitch

After looking at your pictures I am wondering if you need to fab a stop to limit the the up side. It looks as if the pto shaft is at a pretty good angle, thus an up side stop would keep the QH out of the fender/lights and save the wear on the pto shaft.

Pull type leveling box scraper land leveler

I wish to thank you all for your replies. I was hoping to fine some information when comparing the land plane to a land leveler. It seams most of the videos of the land plane are doing gravel roads. I find that in many of the yards I need to level there is a pile of dirt involved and the plane...

    Swinging Draw Bar L2501

My father and I pulled this disc with a Farmall Cub for over 40 years rated at approximately 10 hp. It was used with the standard swinging draw bar that was designed for the Cub. The ability to change the angle of the disc on the go makes it most useful. You set the blades straight and bust up...

    Rotary Cutter

I think I would look at Craig's list. The 5 ft mower will work but it will be slow on the first cut. Once it is done the maintenance cut should be ok with the 5 footer. $1200 is a lot of money to spend to care for 1 acre. If it worries you pay someone to mow it first then just maintain the lot...

    Swinging Draw Bar L2501

I want to use an old 5 ft pull type disc behind a L2501. I was wondering if someone has fashioned a swinging draw bar for two reasons. One to reduce the wear on the disc as it turns. Second is to set the pivot point to the rear so the tongue of the disc does not come into contact with the rear...

Pull type leveling box scraper land leveler

Re: Leveling box scraper[IMG]https://www.jpsfabrications.com/product/hydraulic-box-bl New Holland TL 80A Cab. I took care of 9 acres with a Cub so a L2501 is a nice step up. I have no problem working slow and steady to get a job done correctly as the TL 80 is to tall and wide for a lot of the...

Pull type leveling box scraper land leveler

I have found many names for this pull type box blade and I was wondering if any one used it to redo a football field. I have a L2501 and the short wheelbase makes for a lot of work to trying to remove the highs and lows. I plan on tilling the field and then using the pull type box blade then...

    Refueling setups

I saw a great idea but I do not remember where I saw it. They took a ssqa plate and attached it to the side of a fuel tank. With the front end loader the tank can be moved about the farm as needed as well as loaded onto a truck and carried to the gas station. But the best part was to use the FEL...

New turf tires for the kubota L2501 almost ends in disaster.

Forget about looking the information up on the internet. Go to any truckstop and ask for the "Little Green Book". In it it will tell you the correct way to secure equipment to a truck or trailer. In it you will find that the movable part of the tractor must be secured to the trailer. There is no...

    3ph sway bars

Are you talking about the sway bars hitting the tires with nothing on the tractor? Or are you talking about the sway bars with an implement attached? If you do not have an implement on the rear simply find a bungee cord the correct length and tie the 2 arms together. If you are having the...

    3 point adjustment

You must prevent the arms from swinging into the tires by tightening the turnbuckle or pinning the sway control arms. Which ever system you have on your tractor. If the sway control is not tight enough to hold the mower in one place you will have the mower flop around behind you as you...
